Rated 5 out of 5 by All around, GREAT bike! When I first saw this bicycle in Dicks, I was in love. So, I saved up, and a few weeks later, called to tell them I was coming to pick it up and went in and bought her. First let me say this... I'm not a bike expert by any means, just someone that recently got into bicycling as a hobby/exercise. This is the very first Bicycle I've ever bought, and let me tell you, The GTX 3 Hybrid was a GREAT purchase. I'm on and off the road, on trails, going up and over curbs, going off jumps or just cruising some old back road, and this bike PERFORMS AMAZING under any condition. I actually just bought the bike and took it out for a 56 mile ride for the first time today -REALLY pushing the bike hard- and it didn't falter once. I even wiped out and it's fine (Not a bad wipe-out). In conclusion, I would DEFINITELY recommend this Bike. If you're ever making a choice between this, and another 300 dollar bicycle, GET THIS ONE!!! ***Shout out to Guy at The Marketplace Mall Dicks Sporting Goods in Rochester, NY for being such a great help and putting up with me. ;)*** July 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brian R Really nice bike! Light weight and smooth to ride! Seat is a little hard but not too bad. Overall really nice bike for the price July 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by You get what you pay for I bought this bike in store, already assembled.. I took it out for a spin the next day. After a few miles, I decided to switch through all of the gears. After I switched to lower gears, I was unable to switch back to the higher gears because the derailleur cable had slipped. I do not blame the design of the bike for the cable coming loose; I blame the assembler. I re clamped the cable to get it working properly again, however, analyzing the design of the derailleur a bit more I realized "you get what you pay for"; fairly poor design. Since Dick's does not allow for the return of bicycles, it looks like I am stuck with my purchase (for now). After I adjusted the derailleurs, I noticed that when pedaling heavy, the crank makes unpleasant noises. I now have to look into this. I suppose if the bike was assembled by pros and assembled properly, there is a chance the bicycle would be just fine for it's low cost. I don't feel the quality of this bike will get me many miles, however. July 14, 2015
