Rated 4 out of 5 by Good bike, rides well. I got this bike, simply cause I wanted an inexpensive bike to ride around on the weekends and at the beach. It is a very good bike and I happened to get it on sale. It rides well, is comfortable and so far seems well built. I have ridden it only 4 times for 13+ miles each time and so far has held together well and have had no issues. August 9, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Middling bike with a front derailleur prone to malfunction Got the bike in late April of 2016 and have taken it out a few times. The front derailleur stubbornly refuses to shift out of the middle gear to the point that I dislocated my left thumb in trying to shift it. Took it back to Dicks to have them repair it only to be told that there was no problem despite both myself and my husband having the issue while riding the bike. We were told that we had the option to purchase new shifters for the bike, but I feel that this is something that should fall under the manufacturer's warranty given that the bike is less than two months old. I am very disappointed with this bike (and with our treatment by Dick's Sporting Goods in trying to fix this issue). June 5, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Fun Have been riding this bike a week and enjoy the energy it creates. Easily rides down flat surface, gears are great going up hill. Front derailleur control on the handlebar needs repair already. Fun times. Just as easy with online purchase, bike was in stock, apprehensive to return for warranty work just on enjoyment so far. Hopefully not many or no issues arise further. May 12, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by I rode it for a week, once it rained it was ruined. I was riding home one day from my local park, but then it started raining. I drove home perfectly, but then my brakes were spewing out something that acted like paint. Two parts of the bike's color started to fade to a matte metallic color (really small and unnoticeable). The thing is, I only rode on the road when it was raining. To finish of the review for this decent bike. Don't let the price fool you, it is perfect in the sun, but is ruined in the rain. Rated 5 out of 5 by Bang for your buck! I just recently got into riding bikes again with a friend for exercise purposes I do not have a lot of money so I bought a really cheap bike from Walmart and it got the job done but I noticed my friend would always outpace me and it was hard to keep up and it seemed like I had to put in more effort than he did and it is a full road bike and I am a little more adventurous than my friend I enjoy jumping off of curves and hopping back on to them and jumping off of anything I see and riding in the dirt sometimes so I decided to check out dicks and the guy that helped me was so friendly and very patient with me and all of my questions once I saw the bike I had a feeling it would be the one and won t run me through all of the features I knew I would be happy with it I just got back from my first ride with it and it is amazing I would highly recommend this bike to anyone who likes to ride for exercise but is also a bit adventurous and if you are in the Oxnard area like me I'm sure you will have the same great experience at the store like I did! Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Bike Purchased in store and had a knowledgeable employee help me. He made sure the bike was tuned up and ready for the road. Shifting was a little noisy when I got home but smoothed out. I love everything about this bike!!!! August 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bike My first hybrid bike, and i love it. So far i have taken it out many times at night, and have had a great time. Dicks sporting goods was super helpful in any questions i had and getting my bike all tuned up before i took it home. I've had many mountain bikes, and found them so bulky. This bike handles well and is very lightweight. When i want to pick up speed i can with no issues. There are more expensive bikes out there, and there are cheaper ones too. This bike is a good mid point. August 3, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by You get what you pay for I bought this bike in store, already assembled.. I took it out for a spin the next day. After a few miles, I decided to switch through all of the gears. After I switched to lower gears, I was unable to switch back to the higher gears because the derailleur cable had slipped. I do not blame the design of the bike for the cable coming loose; I blame the assembler. I re clamped the cable to get it working properly again, however, analyzing the design of the derailleur a bit more I realized "you get what you pay for"; fairly poor design. Since Dick's does not allow for the return of bicycles, it looks like I am stuck with my purchase (for now). After I adjusted the derailleurs, I noticed that when pedaling heavy, the crank makes unpleasant noises. I now have to look into this. I suppose if the bike was assembled by pros and assembled properly, there is a chance the bicycle would be just fine for it's low cost. I don't feel the quality of this bike will get me many miles, however. July 14, 2015
