I went into the Hanover, MA store to purchase my Daughter's Lacrosse equipment. I had the best experience. I really didn't know what I was looking for as Lacrosse is very new to us. Well the woman that helped me were fabulous. I wish I got both of their names so I could have called to store and praise them for their help. They both went above and beyond. Good Starter set
Very nice combination if your girl is just starting out in lacrosse. You don't need a big name, high priced lacrosse stick if you are just starting out and have no idea if you are going to like to sport. I noticed that a majority of the girls on m y granddaughter's lacrosse team had the exact same set. Apparently the price and combination apealed to most parents. I highly recommend this set if this is the first time your girl has plaed lacrosse. During her second practice we had to saw off a few inches of the stick so that is was more manageable for her. As a matter of fact, the coach had to saw down half of the girls sticks so that they coud use them.

All you need to Excel
As a first time LAX parent I wasn't sure which stick to purchase, what eye protection was the best, etc. The folks at Dick's recommended the STX Starter Package, and three goals later, we're glad we made the purchase.

BAD STICK
The goggles are not comfortable and the stick is absolutely terrible. I was using it as a beginner and i couldnt catch or barley throw anything! The shaft will get really slippery if you sweat on your hands which makes it hard to craddle.

NO!!
I would not recommend this package. the bag has almost no room to store lacrosse supplies and the stick is not very good! if you are a beginner, i believe it is even harder to learn ith this lacrosse stick!!! the goggles are fine, but the other two items just don't work very well. i see that people with this stick tend to struggle more with catching and throwing.

STX Youth Nova Lacrosse Starter Package
Its my daughters first season playing lacrosse, so we decided to by a package that had everything she needed except the ball. I would say it is good quality items,holding up pretty well too. The bag is great for keeping stuff in one place.It has a little pocket for the mouthguard too. My daughter loves it. Definitely recommended.

Great Begginer/Intermediate stick
The bag is sturdy and durable though it may not be the most attractive thing ever. It takes a while to figure out a way to carry it that is most comfortable for you. The nova stick is great, most of the other girls on the team have it and a few of my friends got it because I did. The only thing annoying about the strings is that they get dirty and stained easily by the turf and the ends can hit you in the face if you cradle too close. The stick is really light though the head of it is a tad heavier so when your fist begging to learn it takes some time to get a sense of balance.
