STX Goalie pad Great chest protector. Light, comfortable, very adjustable. Velcro allows you to remove many of the extra pads, so you can have decide how much protection you want. I wear it without the plastic shoulder caps, as they seemed a bit much. June 8, 2011
Ideal Protection I played goal in high school and am currently playing in a highly competitive collegiate club league. After a few years of bruised shoulders, ribs, and chest, I upgraded from a simple softball chest protector to this. The bulky shoulder shells are removable, but I keep them on as they provide excellent sheilding. I have a tendency to play the ball with my body most of the time, and have had extremely few body bruises since purchasing the Agent. I am especially a fan of the sternum shell and the extra padding behind it. There are several pieces of that are removable and size adjustable, including the hip wrapping and lower abdominal. I would absolutely recommend this to any goalie at the upper intermediate or advanced level. March 8, 2011
