Rated 5 out of 5 by PC Excellent quality HEAVY, Strong and sturdy, very well constructed...very easy to assemble IF, and this is a big IF....if you take the directions that came with it and throw them away immediately...then go on u-tube and watch a video (easy to find) on how to assemble it... after you have done this, assembly will take about 5 minutes. Other than the directions, FANTASTIC!....and if you somehow injure yourself putting it together (as at least one other reviewer apparently did)...stay away from machinery and sharp objects. Rated 4 out of 5 by BigNChewy Almost Excellent Overall very nice. I would buy it again and I do recommend it. It is big and the material is very tough. The tubing is heavy and solid. The bracing and welds are definitely adequate for the job of returning a little ball. The triangular bracing that connects the legs at the articulation points is undersized but adequate. The tubing it manages is about 20% wider than the spread between the 2 triangular braces, so when it is snugged up the bracing bends a little. I have read about broken welds and I suspect this is where it would occur. This bracing should be the same size as the tube diameter to avoid this. To get arund it, I inserted a couple washers for spacing to keep the braces square. This is the biggest issue, although again, bouncing a little ball would not stress it, although (un)folding the unit would cause it to flex and eventually break if it was done imperfectly. Also, the orange "powder coating" on my unit flaked off where the pieces slid together during assembly. This is clearly a substandard powder coating job. I know this can happen if powder coating is applied over metal that is not cleaned properly prior to application, for example, oil residue not completely removed with soivent; or may be it was not baked properly. When done properly, powder coating is very tough and does not just flake off. In fact, you typically need a sandblaster to remove it efficiently. But the parts that count - the springs, fabric, and tube heaviness are all there and overall this thing will last a long time with a little care. It is big enough to really wail on and is good enough for any level of player. February 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Princess1982 Excellent I was very pleased with this product overall. Its size is awesome, my kids love it. I'm usually pretty good at putting stuff together and this was challenging to follow pictures..... I pulled the wrong side out first and then couldn't get other side out due to springs- then when hubby helped we realized it was due to the diagrams. This wouldn't prevent me from buying again- I just wish the instructions were more detailed thats it! Otherwise Great! April 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by (Put Name Here) Yes, you do want this Ok, so the first day I got, I was literally shaking to get it out of the box for use. One problem, one of the pipes were bent so bad, you could unfold it from the boxed position. MANUFACTURING PROBLEM. The lady at the checkout was nice enough to take it back for a different one. So the next day we looked at the instructions but all it was was pictures. So I found a video off youtube and they had the best setup video; crystal clear instructions. Now I have it all setup and I know everything about it. WARNING, it is heavy and I recommend this setup OUTSIDE, unless you have got a big room for it. April 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by entropyorca Well constructed and rugged The product was chosen based on past reviews and it seems to be living up to them. It is well built and rugged. It requires lacrosse balls to be thrown harder than you would on the "wall" making the exercise better. The adjustable feature is good to get balls coming back at different angles. Overal;l rating good. January 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ben W EZGoal Lacrosse Rebounder - SOLID! We absolutely love this rebounder! It has been an excellent piece of equipment for our 6th grade son as he learns the game of lacrosse. This way we don't have to be with throwing with him all the time; he can practice on his own as well. The material on the Rebounder is like trampoline material - really strong and taut. Unexpected bonus is that our daughter has been using it for her volleyball serving and overhead spiking as well! Only downside is it is expensive, but if it lasts for 4-5 years, then it will be worth it. March 12, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Jay Horrible product Bought for my 13 year old for Christmas and tried to set it up today. Instructions was very poor and pushing netting back is a hazard. Read the review of the guy who hurt his arm! Got to step 3 and because of the pressure the springs put on the metal when I folded the piece out as instructed the metal buckled and welding broke. Look nice and sturdy but welding broke and this is a hazard and it is use to hold back the spring. Piece of junk - will be returning it to store as soon as crowds die down December 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shrimpkin The Epitome of Quality! I purchased this to replace a different rebounder that had literally fallen apart after 5 years of hard use by multiple children. While that one cost approximately $150, the step up in quality to this rebounder is well worth the extra money. I agree that the instructions could have been more intuitive, but by studying the drawings for a few minutes it was easy to figure out how the pieces click together. The metal frame is very sturdy and appears to have a high quality finish. The assembled rebounder feels absolutely solid and instills great confidence that it will stand up to many years of hard use and abuse by the elements. The springs are sturdy and well spaced and the cloth "wall" is both heavy duty and well stitched. Our old rebounder was made of netting that did not provide as much power or consistency when returning the ball. The two downsides I see are the fact that it is large (that is also a plus for some)and a bit gaudy (bright orange tubing and a solid black surface), and it is quite loud whan the ball hits the wall due to it being solid and at very high tension. Overall, I'm very pleased, my daughters are pleased, and I highly recommend it. March 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Donna Great Product After spending $600+ dollars to replace our broken front window, I purchased this for my son. The solid back is great because it does not rip and balls do not get stuck in it. It assembled easily and will last for years, just like our new window. August 18, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Gr8flmon assembly should have been easier the rebounder is serving it's purpose. Although the assembly instructions were awful. Many of the holes for the pins were not well aligned. As a result I am afraid to try and fold it. Now it's permanently open. March 14, 2011
