Rated 3 out of 5 by BSldr Good starter for youth Fits pre teen and up. Taller eleven year old boy adjusted down to the bottom setting fit nicely. Sturdy construction. Best used with light weight compact tent, sleeping bag and roll. Sleeping bag off the bottom interferes with youth ability to walk. Belt pockets would be nice. Rain cover would make a better starter pack. Brighter colors and reflective webbing for safety. April 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Infanfry of the Wild Good pack. I bought this pack after all my old military kit was ruined in a rain storm. The 55 liter pack is just the right size for 4 to 5 day trips, if someone needs something bigger, the weight will likely be stifling. My favorite feature of the pack is the elastic hydration bladder pocket on the back of the pack. It stretches with the hydration bladder to ensure a snug, bounce free fit, with out bursting the bladder. If the baladder bursts, no problem the inside of the pocket is highly water resistant, and has a drain in the bottom to release the excess water. I know this because my bladder bursted on day four of a backpacking trip. The pack is also incredibly comfortable, and very water resistant. The only con is, it is missing pockets on the lateral belt. May 19, 2011
