Forgiving and soft landing
I upgraded to these from some 2003 Wilson fat shaft irons. After getting these custom fitted, I actually hit the ball slightly shorter, but much more consistently and my ball flight is high and comes down soft. They are hard to hit a Slice with and fairly easy to draw, and sometimes I snap them left once I get to the 6 iron, though I did that with my old clubs much worse. The fittings at dicks and the customer service was fantastic. Bought them at 2 pm and had them cut down and regripped by 7 pm.

no better clubs for the money
I bought these clubs about a month ago. I golf about once and week and am by no means a great golfer, but these clubs instantly improved my game. They have a very wide, forgiving sweet spot that will add length and subtract strokes! I have tried Callaway, Nike, and Adams clubs in this same price range and these definitely feel the best. Highly recommended.

I liked the way the clubs felt, and the forgiveness of them.
I bought the clubs because of the way they help correct the contact I made with the ball. I make better contact now and have lowered my score. I am very please with my purchase I would recommend these clubs.

Best game improvement irons out there!
I started golfing a year ago and I purchased a beginner set of top flite. I was really happy with those clubs starting off. But then I got tired of them and was not able to get good distances as I would like. I found these on sale at Dicks for $300 and quickly snatched them as I always read good things about the TaylorMade Burner Brand. These irons felt great! I was getting 10-15 yards more and significant less slices. The grips also felt great and it looks fantastic! I compared them to other irons such as Nike VRS, Callaway Razr. The Nike VRS felt great, but the burners were $100 less and a great buy. Since buying them and continuing to work on my game, I love these irons more and more as each day goes buy. I am able to get distances I have never imagined. I am 5'7'' 125 and I can hit the 6 iron 155 yards. I thought I would never be able to do that! These irons burn, baby, burnnn out on the golf course!

i purchased clubs for my son who just turned 17.. he loves them he said they have a solid feel and on miss hits they still give you good distance

New Set of Irons for Retirement
Not having a new set of irons since 1995 the Burners felt good to me. The fact that I hit everything so high, I felt the Burners actually lowered my shot trajectory somewhat to aid in the distance I acheived.

Great Value for a Great Product
Can't ask for much more when you only have to spend $300 for a pro quality product. I have never owned a name brand set of clubs before and this my friends is the best set I have ever owned. My first round played I had a 5 stroke improvement and with the better forgiveness and better distance I was able to play within the boundaries of the course. Now its just time to work on my putting game!!
