Rated 5 out of 5 by Duck proof I'm an oregon duck student and love it! Bought a little big to wear sweatshirts underneath cause it's very thin and does keep warm. Keeps water rolling off me like water on a ducks back ;) December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket Love this jacket. I get a lot of compliments on it. It is really wind and waterproof. I've never had a jacket where the rain drops bead up so well. Even in temps around 35 degrees, with high winds, I was OK in this jacket with a sweatshirt on underneath. Don't get me wrong, I was cold, but was out on the softball field for 3 hours and I should have been wearing a parka :) I like that it has metal zippers, and zips high on the neck, and that the cuffs are adjustable with velcro. My only complaints are that the side pocket zippers are pull up, rather than pull down, the mesh lining in the pockets is not anchored so when i pull my glove out of my pocket, the pocket comes out, and the hood draw string knobs are a little small, so they sometimes slide up into the lining of the hood and need to be pulled out. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Purchase A great travel jacket. Perfectly water proof, but not heavy and cool enough to wear without getting overheated. Climbed Mount Vesuvious in it and it kept the wind at bay without overheating me. The chest pocket is nice- deep and wide enough for a passport, boarding passes, and wallet without any trouble. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great jacket for hiking in wet raining mountains Love everything about this jacket except for the pocket zips. I was able to use it to hike for a week in the Andes. Was great for those occasional misty rains or when you were walking though the cloud cover. Kept me dry and warm. The only thing I don't like about it is the zipper pockets. I had a few things in my pockets some were fine others caused problems. When I had my wallet or GPS device it was no issue. When I put dollar coins into the pocket the mesh would get caught in the zipper. I had to take the coat completely off so I could see the zipper and pocket and get the mesh unstuck from my pocket. If you're buying this as an everyday rain coat in urban or city life. DON'T, you'll be frustrated with the zipper and having to take it off. If you're buying this for hiking and don't care about constently taking things in and out of your pockets then this is the jacket for you. I will not be using the pockets anymore. If I wear it in the city I will have pants that can carry my wallet and phone. If I hike I'll throw a few things in the pockets I can forget about. April 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket for the outdoors! I bought this to stay dry - while fishing, hiking. It is a great jacket! No problem with condensation on the inside. Great quality, great fit! December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great! Bought this for a musky fishing trip that was supposed to get rain. I got this and some north face pants. Both guides we had commented on how well it seemed to work and how nice they looked. Keep my completely dry every day we went out. Breathes well too which is hard to find in something as waterproof as this jacket is. October 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice rain jacket! Wish it was a little longer since I'm tall but great coat for rainy or windy conditions. April 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kept me dry Kept the water off me in a strong storm that lasted about 3 hours. The freedom of movement is exceptional!!! My only complaint is the drawstring around the hood didn't have a clasp to help secure it around my head. April 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket! This jacket is very well made and a must to own. Lightweight, easy to pack and take anywhere. The material is top notch and will wear forever. Bought one for my son and had to get one for my husband! April 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product I have never been disappointed with a North Face product. this rain jacket is no exception. other brands may cost less but in the long term don't perform as well. I can recommend this product to anyone that needs a lightweight rain jacket April 3, 2015
