High quality. Perfect fit.
Pants are extremely comfortable and look great. The button down pockets are a big plus - no velcro. The small zippered extra pocket is very handy. Dick's had them in stock and promptly shipped them. Customer support phone is answered by a real person who is friendly and knowledgeable. I'll order again.

Why doesn't Dick's carry other lengths?
In response to those complaining about the length, I too was frustrated that Dick's only carries the "regular" length, which is a bit too long for me for hiking duty. The North Face produces these in three lengths: Short (30"), Regular (32") and Long (34"). Now that I have these in the "short" length, they fit great.

Good, Good Pants!
I use these pants for all things I do outdoors...mostly backcountry hiking & fishing but I also use them for heavy work outdoors (i.e., brush clearing, chainsaw work, & other care taking duties). These pants are sturdy& durable, along with being lightweight & comfortable. When wet wading, I barely notice I'm wearing them & they dry super fast; the UPF feature really works and keeps my legs from burning without other protection. Whatever you have to through at these, they'll be able to handle it. The only negative thing I have to say about them (the reason they got 4 stars instead of 5) is that they only come in one length and I had to have them altered to keep from dragging the cuffs on the ground or tripping on them...however, this is a common theme with this style of pants. Very few companies offer this style of pant, with varying inseams. The waist was true to fit.

Pants are great
Would give it 5 stars if the pants came in different lengths... Columbia realizes that not all people are the same height, can someone send North Face a memo? Otherwise, excellent product.

Well worth it!
I hike and do wildlife photography, these lightweight cargo pants are just the thing. Hiking,climbing,kneeling these pants are what I need, no chafing or rubbing. Also being ripstop I don't need to worry to much about rock abrasions

Great travel pants
Used the pants for a China trip. Packed small, never smelled, good zipper security pocket on the side. I had to zip up the pocket so it "hid" the zipper in the top flap - wish there was a more secure pocket for passport, etc, but this did end up working well.
