Customer Reviews:

Rated 4 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outdoor wonder Great price on a great product. I fit two military sleeping bags along with another child size sleeping bag. Half the bag was full. The cushions on the shoulder and waist feel thick and comfortable. Weight is evenly distributed. Water proof sack that comes with it is perfect for rainy hikes. Totally can't wait to put it to a 7-day trek. March 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too much for poor performance Purchased this pack for a goat hunt in Alaska. The first time I used it, the nylon cover with drawstring ripped away from the bag. Not a good start. When I used this down on Kodiak, the bag was able to withstand considerable weight in some serious terrain and weather. Despite the bag strength, the stitching on all the frontal straps ripped from the bag in less than a day. If you're taking a hike around Seattle on a coffee tour, this is the perfect pack. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend for backcountry use. January 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Backpack I bought this bag to backpack across Europe. I was very satisfied with this puchsse, well worth the price. Very durable and expands to hold a lot of items! January 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product for the Price I've had this bag for over three years now. I use it for weekend hikes and have been really impressed with it. An equivalent sized pack with the features like this one has (rain fly, hydration pack pocket, external pockets and cinches) is often in the $300+ range at other outdoor stores like REI and the like. If you're looking for a quality weekend pack that has a lot of shoulder and hip padding, has all the features and storage space you need, and is priced amazingly, this is the bag for you! Also, Field & Stream also makes an external frame version of this pack that Dick's sells that I'm considering. December 2, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pack I wanted a larger pack but I didn't want to spend a fortune. This pack definitely fit the bill. This pack is a great size. It has all the compartments you need, and it's comfortable to wear. Great pack at a great price. October 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Design and Reasonable Price with Discounts Considered The design is 100% straight from the Coleman Elate 65L which sells for 30-40% less when it was available. Since it is no longer available this is the best next choice. The size and strap system is comfortable and adjustable. The two long aluminum "bars" in the harness system will be a problematic security issue when trying to use this as carry on luggage item. Unless you are also checking baggage and want to remove them you will certainly encounter airport issues. At least they are removeable. The Coleman Elate did not have this issue. As a 65 liter you may want to check it anyway unless you pack it lightly. The design with the drawstring in the bottom compartment is handly. The waist straps are large and comfortable and supply good support. Overall it is reasonable priced and compares to other packs that are twice the price. It remains to be seen if it will stand up to normal use over time since i have only been out with it a couple times. It would be nice if these were available in the stores at the same price as online but the online discounts were welcome. September 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by performed well on the appalachian trail This backpack performed well on the appalachian trail (37 miles in NY). It has lots of easy access to smaller pockets to access trail food and bottle holders on each side which can supplement a hydration bladder for which this pack has a pocket. September 2, 2014
