Does all that is needed of it.
Use it to hold onto when I am kicking it in the pool. Keeps my arms and hands out of the way.

Not a life preserver
This works for what it is intended. To add a little support for kicking around the pool. But beware, it is not so good as a support device for non-swimmers. The old fashioned styrofoam type work better for that. I do like the shape and am sure it will hold up better than the fabric covered styrofoam boards, so I am happy with the purchase.
