PowerBolt Lacrosse Rebounder 2.3 5 55 55
DO NOT PURCHASE Falls apart every time I throw the ball at it, and loses elasticity with use. Falls uneven, too and is terrible to use. I had to bolt mine into the ground for a while until I just got a new one. July 21, 2014
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE It uses elastic to rebound the ball and within 24 hours the elastic and loosened to the point it barely worked and then within the first month every elastic piece had broken. I went back and bought another of the same rebounder because thats all my local Dick's had at the time and the exact same thing happened. I promise you if you buy this rebounder it will be the worst finical decision you have ever made. July 16, 2014
Net does not Fit and Cannot be Put On The frame of the product is very easy to put together but the net is impossible to fit onto the frame. The written assembly directions for the net do not make any sense and the pictures are very unclear. We tried for three hours to figure out how to put the net on and could not get it to work. We are returning it to the store. Very disappointed that Dick's would sell something that is clearly flawed. May 31, 2014
GREAT item....buying a second one! I agree with another review....don't know why the reviews are negative. Bought this item for my son a few years ago for his birthday. He has been using it and is playing college lacrosse now. Like it so much, I am getting it for my nephew's birthday. My teenage son had no problem putting it together by himself! And it's been in the weather elements (winter, rain, etc.) and still working fine! May 21, 2014
Horrible instructions Pole #11 and #12 do not connect therefore rendering the rebounder completely useless! I will definitely be taking this product back to the store. December 27, 2013
Much Better Than Expected; Very Pleased so Far. The reviews are not good for this rebounder, I'm not sure why. Assembly: My 8 year daughter put the frame together herself in under five minutes. It has simple spring clips. That part was easy (I helped with the three hand screws, no tools required). Installing the net certainly took more time, but I wouldn't call it difficult. There are 48 bunge hooks. My 10 year old son and I put 14 on each side (and the corners), and 10 on the top and 10 on the bottom. Then, you just hook them to the net. Pretty easy. The last step is the 24 velcro straps that make the blue part wrap around the frame. You really have to put a lot of tension in the net to get those all the way on, but I just used my hand to pull the net toward the frame, and they all went on without much fuss. Installing the net took around 30 minutes total. Functionality: We use the pro quality rebounders at the high school at least 2x week. The frame on this rebounder is nowhere as beefy/sturdy as those, but it's not bad. This rebounder is plenty sturdy for home user. This rebounder is more bouncy than the high end ones, which I like better. The net area on this rebounder is very comparable to the high end rebounders. It would be nice if this came with a target area in the middle, I will probably use some sort of tape or ribbon to create the same. Overall: I feel that this is an excellent value, maybe the poor reviews lowered expectations, but in my opinion, this is a good quality product for a very fair price. December 25, 2013
It does the job. The directions for this product were below average. Though it isn't that difficult to put together, they were still horrible done. It is VERY difficult to put together the net with the directions (the frame is easy). Overall the rebounder is pretty flimsy, and tends to bend after 10 minutes of using it, so you have to go up and fix that which is annoying. I do not think this product is worth the amount you have to pay, but it does do the job pretty well. Also, the box was super damaged when I bought it in store. July 23, 2013
It's ok... Well, after almost a week of use, the screw striped and it does NOT stand up straight. The instructions were difficult to follow. You have to pass really hard to get the ball back at a reasonable pace. I would try to avoid this item. May 15, 2013
Bit of a let down:( Love the idea of a rebounder for my 9 yr old daughter. Bought this one and it does the job,but is hard to assemble and is bent!! The directions are horrible and very hard to figure out. She uses it but one of the screws is stripped, the next day! And it's bent..useable but expected better! May 7, 2013
Directions? Directions? My 5 year old could write better directions. Seriously, did anyone from the company behind this product actually read and try to follow them? The company can feel free to contact me and I will assist them write better directions for a small royalty fee. I promise I will not get any help from my 5 year old. Still trying to figure out how the bungees are supposed to attached. I think I've got it figured out, but may require more trial and error. May 5, 2013
