Rated 2.4 out of 5 by 57 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Much Better Than Expected; Very Pleased so Far. The reviews are not good for this rebounder, I'm not sure why. Assembly: My 8 year daughter put the frame together herself in under five minutes. It has simple spring clips. That part was easy (I helped with the three hand screws, no tools required). Installing the net certainly took more time, but I wouldn't call it difficult. There are 48 bunge hooks. My 10 year old son and I put 14 on each side (and the corners), and 10 on the top and 10 on the bottom. Then, you just hook them to the net. Pretty easy. The last step is the 24 velcro straps that make the blue part wrap around the frame. You really have to put a lot of tension in the net to get those all the way on, but I just used my hand to pull the net toward the frame, and they all went on without much fuss. Installing the net took around 30 minutes total. Functionality: We use the pro quality rebounders at the high school at least 2x week. The frame on this rebounder is nowhere as beefy/sturdy as those, but it's not bad. This rebounder is plenty sturdy for home user. This rebounder is more bouncy than the high end ones, which I like better. The net area on this rebounder is very comparable to the high end rebounders. It would be nice if this came with a target area in the middle, I will probably use some sort of tape or ribbon to create the same. Overall: I feel that this is an excellent value, maybe the poor reviews lowered expectations, but in my opinion, this is a good quality product for a very fair price. December 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE It uses elastic to rebound the ball and within 24 hours the elastic and loosened to the point it barely worked and then within the first month every elastic piece had broken. I went back and bought another of the same rebounder because thats all my local Dick's had at the time and the exact same thing happened. I promise you if you buy this rebounder it will be the worst finical decision you have ever made. July 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by rips Unfortunatly this isn't the greatest rebounded for the "experienced" lacrosse players if u throw it to hard to much it will rip and u cant buy a replacement net for it. U have to buy a new rebounded!! January 30, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by LAX bounceback This bounce back has some small, but in the end, serious quality issues. First the instructions are straight out of China- a one-pager with illegible 'photos' of the assembly process that is complex enough to warrant better directions. Specifically the net is held to the frame with a lot of little bungee cords. It was not entirely clear, without some trial and error, how the bungees worked between the net and the frame. Then the hardware used to join the sections is sub-par. On our model, some of the plastic tightening devices- that are on the tubes and allow one to adjust the angle of the bounce back- were broken before I even opened the package. The rest broke upon assembly. Which renders this entire thing useless since it can't stand up. I should have taken it back at that point but this thing is huge once it's assembled and it was daunting to think about disassembling it and then driving it back to the store. So I improvised and match-drilled holes all over the place and used lag-bolts I had laying around for the adjustment. I'm not happy about this. I do not recommend this product unless you have a lot of patience and a machine shop at your disposal. April 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't waste your time returned within 2 weeks. Never stood straight, directions are awful. Waste of time and money. April 14, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Net does not Fit and Cannot be Put On The frame of the product is very easy to put together but the net is impossible to fit onto the frame. The written assembly directions for the net do not make any sense and the pictures are very unclear. We tried for three hours to figure out how to put the net on and could not get it to work. We are returning it to the store. Very disappointed that Dick's would sell something that is clearly flawed. May 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT item....buying a second one! I agree with another review....don't know why the reviews are negative. Bought this item for my son a few years ago for his birthday. He has been using it and is playing college lacrosse now. Like it so much, I am getting it for my nephew's birthday. My teenage son had no problem putting it together by himself! And it's been in the weather elements (winter, rain, etc.) and still working fine! May 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by good product easy to put together but the instructions were wrong on part July 12, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Directions? Directions? My 5 year old could write better directions. Seriously, did anyone from the company behind this product actually read and try to follow them? The company can feel free to contact me and I will assist them write better directions for a small royalty fee. I promise I will not get any help from my 5 year old. Still trying to figure out how the bungees are supposed to attached. I think I've got it figured out, but may require more trial and error. May 5, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Thumbs down- look for other to buy Very disappointed, especially for Dick's to sell this...junker. Ok so its made in China..not always does that doom a product, but this one is a cheap knock off, bottom of the barrel, quality wise, and Especially the assembly instructions-not sure any one who speaks/reads English 'reviewed' the instructions. Pass on this one, look for other to buy January 14, 2013
