Rated 5 out of 5 by jim3 Diamondback Icon BMX Grips These were used on a Razor scooter and not a BMX bike. They fit well and offer good grip for my grandson. Expect them to last much longer than the foam grips that came on the Razor. Grandson likes them for their "feel". September 10, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Mom Not for regular bicycles I purchased these in the store because they were the only bicycle handlebar grips the store carried & the salesperson told me they could be used for regular bicycles. To begin with, the cap at the end of the grip (to cover the hole) is painted metal which didn't work for me because it would lead to the kids scratching my car when they pull their bikes out of the garage instead of the rubber protecting the ends of the handlebars. The second item is that the caps have a screw in the middle. Maybe some BMX bikes have something to screw onto, but regular bikes don't so the caps can fall out easily. Last, the rubber seems to be pretty thin because when my 4 year old daughter twisted it around before I installed it one of them got a small tear in the middle of the grip. This might work better for BMX bicycles, but not for regular ones. July 29, 2014
