Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice for the Price! I'm not a biking expert, all I know is that I needed toe clips for my pedals. Initially, I bought only the toe clips online (without the pedals) but they wouldn't fit on my existing pedals, so I returned them at my local Dick's and bought these instead, which have the clips integrated with the pedals as a complete unit. The pedals were easy to install and fit perfectly. The clips are adjustable for a variety of foot sizes and my foot never comes out unless I do so purposely. My only concern is how long they'll last, since the clips are made of plastic, albeit tough plastic. Obviously time will tell if they'll last. It's because of this concern that I gave it 4 bars instead of 5 for the Quality rating. Overall it gets 5 bars because it does the job at a reasonable price. July 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by okay I did not like the straps and they do not work for quick release July 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great price This is a good pedal for the price. I have had no problems at all with slipping and seem to be durable to tree and rock abuse, as I have put mine through a little myself. June 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Avenir Alloy 9/16" Axle Pedals with Toe Clips and Straps I really like these pedals. Good price, good product and easily to install. After I used them for two weeks, the bolts that attach toe clip to pedal loosened up. After I tightened them up and added a drop of lock tight to each nut, they were fine. June 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by very nice The product was just fine, there were no issues with problems. June 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for the price These are good for the price. I have bigger feet (size 13), so my feet do not sit as well in these. Clips would have been better, but for the price, these were a very solid alternative. May 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by No problems so far I purchased these to replace the stock pedals on a Diamondback Response. Installation was fairly simple (follow the directions since the threads go different directions based on whether it's L or R). I've taken them on one trip to Moab, Utah and took them on a few good trails. So far no problem. April 23, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Value Sturdy I am very satisfied with this purchase September 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I wanted Had some trouble getting my old pedals off so took bike to local shop that charged 12$ to do both. August 8, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good quality Pedal I needed a pedal to replace one that had broken on my bicycle. This turned out to be a good replacement part. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a five star rating is that this was the only choice and it came with toe clips and straps which I don't want or need. I was able to cut the straps and clips away but that degraded to pedals in a minor, but not safety related, way. Wish that great big sporting goods store could have had a little better selection.
