Rated 1 out of 5 by Arrived with absolutely NO parts, NO instructions! Ordered this rack online. Came with no instructions, no hardware, and no struts to attach to frame. VERY disappointed! Obviously it will be returned! Since I'm not able to rate this rack on performance and installation, I can only rate what I received (or didn't receive). July 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by STRUTS TOO SHORT Plan on buying longer struts to mount this at an additional cost of $10. Also plan on watching YouTube videos to learn how to install it because it comes with absolutely no instructions. If you contact customer service, they will tell you they can install it for and additional fee but will not supply any instructions. August 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Strong and works great After a couple of months of using this several times a week for my 28 mile commute to work, the rack is rock solid. I have no issues whatsoever. I'm not sure if I have exceeded the 40 lb rating or not, but I've probably come close. Oh, and it looks great! July 12, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Can be a bit tricky to install The instructions were not especially clear so I was glad my husband's back rack got installed at the store in Downers Grove, IL, so I could use it for reference. But it's different to put on a woman's bike than a man's bike because of how the various bars are aligned. So it was a little tricky to be sure not to interfere with the rear wheel brake apparatus. Have not carried a load on it yet, so cannot comment on that aspect. August 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Rack!!! I use this product to attach anything to it using bungee cords or an elastic net thing. I can also attach my panniers to it. The rack was easy to install on the bike. I needed something to bridge between the metal straps and the knockouts, so I straightened out the d-clamps and they were perfect, allowing the rack to sit level. I made the junctions very tight, but realize the weight load should be no more than 10 lbs, I suppose. I think the metal straps should be longer so improvisation would not be required. July 9, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by needs more attachment points for bungees lightweight and sturdy, but needs more attachment points for bungee cords. June 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Decent affordable rear bike rack. Fit perfectly on my Trek. Bike had all the mount points needed to accommodate the rack. Once the rack was centered, leveled and tightened down, it looked OEM. No problems with the rack so far. Solid product. Happy with fit and finish. You have to know what you are doing when mounting a rack. Tho I read a lot of people who have had problems, mine has been solid and has taken everything I have thrown at it. From rough urban roads, to off-road trails, to strapping groceries, backpacks and a small toolbox to it, no rattles noticed and the rack stays true and solid. All hardware was there and complete, nothing missing in the package. The only problem now is to find a decent pannier set to fit with this rack configuration and it will be a marriage made in bike heaven. June 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Decent rack Good quality, fair price. Installation instructions are very poor. June 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sturdy but be inventive This is a well made product and in the end, I think it's going to be just fine, but not all bikes are made the same way with the same attachment points, etc. I was looking to put this on my daughter's mountain bike and will have to figure out some way to mount it under the seat post as it doesn't seem to be a direct fit. If it works for your bike, I would recommend it, but be aware that it might not or you might (like me) have to do some jury rigging to make it work. May 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy Install I am getting ready to be a full time bicyclist and I purchased this item to assist in my commute. The install was easy and it seems to suit my purpose so far. July 30, 2012
