Best Medicine ball at local Stores I really like using this medicine ball line. They are solid and sturdy and feel high quality. I am starting to slam the balls down in my exercise routines but one thing I don't like is that when I slam the balls down they do not always bounce straight back up. It is as if the density of the ball is not quite consistent throughout. I have the 4lb, 6lb, 8lb, 10lb, and 12lb balls and they all have the same issue but the 8lb is the worst and the 10lb one is close second. But from what I have seen, there was no better medicine ball out there that I could find at my local stores. I am not sure how the Fitness Gear rubber balls compare with other brands online. The price was higher than I wanted to pay but buying them with the promotional helped a lot. I will consider purchasing the 15lb and 20lb balls in the future but they are expensive. April 10, 2013
good product, but... I ordered two of these for medicine ball pushups and was impressed with how sturdy they are. I'm a pretty large guy and the do not cave in like some of the lower priced medicine balls from a large, blue themed competitor. However the claim of 10% off of my online order for signing up for a Dick's online account was not honored when my order was completed January 23, 2013
i would buy this product again working out October 17, 2012
I would buy more of these, this is # 2. This is my second one of these and I really enjoy using them. Now I can do push ups and other exercises on them. September 10, 2012
Classy; ease of handling; versatile 4 days a week workout August 17, 2012
Great Med Ball These medicine ball is rock solid and good for any workout I can think of. My workouts involve slamming the ball into the ground and standing on it (among others) and this ball is sturdy. I'd rate it a 5 if it was a bit cheaper. August 1, 2012
I want to buy more of these. I use this product with P90X2. I am just into my third week but so far this medicine ball is holding up very well. I really like the textured surface that really helps with grip when my hands get sweaty. The price is competitive but still seems like an awful lot to me for a weighted ball. July 16, 2012
good medicine ball great grip July 11, 2012
Fitness Gear 10lb Medicine Ball I use this ball for cardio workouts/core workouts and to warm up for TRX work outs. I love the dimple finger grab surface. July 9, 2012
Eye opener This is a great product. What I really wanted was a 12 lbs. medicine ball, but just couldn't afford it. The 10 lbs. has been effective. My only worry is that I will become too comfortable to where 10 lbs. won't be able to push my body in order to acheive the purpose I purchased it for. Time will tell. April 26, 2012
