Terrible
Not enough durability for heavy weight.. Great for a novice gym member!

questionable quality
I love the hooks...they are comfortable and easy to use BUT a seam is ripping at the hook and I have only worked out with them 6 times.

Lifting Hooks
Bought these to assist in lifting heavy for Deadlifts and Rows. I like these because they have longer wrap straps and allow for better support at the wrists. I have purchased other brands and was not impressed with the effectiveness. These are by far much better. As soon as more come in, I will buy more. I bought the last two pair.

A big benefit in the gym
I'm a 48 year old gym rat. I work out m-f from 5 - 6:30 am. I would say I'm still in fairly good shape weighing 170 and benching 300. I say this only to make the point that at 48 my muscles don't hurt by my joints are starting to. These grip have taken some on the pressure off of my wrist and fingers so I can still go heavy if I want to. They took about a week to get used to but now I love them.

Works better than wraps
These come in handy when doing heavy lifting. It takes most of the weight off your arms...

A real hand/finger saver
I use these lifting hooks primarily during weight training for my back. They are extremely helpful with all barbell, dumbell and machines that require a pulling motion. They are very well made and the wrist strap is very heavy duty. I use them at the same time with a pair of Harbinger non-wristwrap weight training gloves. Both gloves can easily be worn together. At times when the hooks aren't needed...push-ups, abdominal work, etc...they can be slightly loosened and turned around to the back side of your hand where they are out of the way, but still on your wrists.

Hooks don't support..as claimed
Upon lifting dumbbells or barbells, the hook rotates in towards the palm, thus releasing the weight. It doesn't stay in line with the wrist, as claimed. Useless! I now understand why the stores don't stock them!!

self-destruct
Harbinger lifting hooks are very comfortable.easy to use and are ideal for my needs. My only complaint is the internal hook metal's rough edges wear through the mesh covering very rapidly, so the strap's lifespan is diminished. If they would round off the sharp edges the straps would last longer.

these are great!
I bought these because I broke two fingers on my left hand. They worked well to help me hold a weight in my hand or hook it to use a resistance band. Very sturdy and velcro holds securely in place.
