Works perfectly I have tried other brands that couldn't keep up with P90X workouts. This can and will connect with Sportline's receiver for the Iphone, which is a nice bonus. I use to hate it when I would waste workout time fussing with heart rate equipment, now I don't. May 28, 2013
From bad to great When I first bought this product I was really excited to use it. I took it out of the case, followed all the directions, and it didn't work. I tried the next day and it still didn't work. Apparently this happens a lot (found out after some googling). I took it back and Dicks was very helpful and understanding about getting me a new one. They of course do not control another person's product working. Anyways, I finally got it and it works GREAT. I can see my calories, heart rate, hours worked, and there is even memory and things that keep a running total. I recommend it to anyone. The only thing I wish it had was a stop watch. May 14, 2013
Easy to set up and use I purchased this because I wanted to get back in shape. I had one years ago "another brand" however the batteries died and exploded inside the unit so I went to Dicks and asked the rep in the bike dept. which on he thought was the best for my type of activity and he showed me all the features as well as flaws of some of the more expensive units, so this is the one I chose and love it I would recomend it to anyone looking to monitor there heart rate as well as stay in the training zone you set up. Good basic monitor First, I am a female but purchased the men's monitor because the women's was pink, which I absolutely hate. I have been using this for every workout since I purchased and have found it easy to integrate in my routine. It goes on easily and links quickly. I hit a plateau, so it was important for me to have something to push me harder in the gym. This has done the job. It accurately monitors my heart rate and calories. This monitor is as basic as they come and a fairly good deal coming in under $100. April 3, 2013

Nice Fitness Tool (Polar Men's FT4 Heart Rate Monitor) This product has allowed me to increase the efficiency of my workout. The visual screen can be challenging for older eyes like mine. The audio alarm is not loud enough to heard during your workout. However, the strap and transmitter are vastly improved from previous models. For the price this is a very good piece of equipment, it has truly enhanced exercise sessions. February 2, 2013
