Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs a replacement band with improved heart rate monotroing. I had a Sports Line Watch before and the heart rate monitor was inconsistent and would not always come on. This watch need a replacement band so that you do not have to throw away watch when band breaks. I tried taping it to keep watch and the packing tape, duck tape would evenually would wear off. It did have nice large numbers so you could view numbers easily. July 16, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not easy I was looking to replace a watch that I had for about 5 years. My old watch was very easy to use but no longer available. The unit I bought is bulky, takes random readings depending on the inadvertent contact from hand / wrist positions and sweat. Also, difficult to operate with all the "sub" modes. April 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Purchased 2 I have purchased two of these from Dick's over the past four years. The first time was to monitor my excercise; the second time was to monitor my heart rate because of atrial arythmia. The any touch was the one feature I appreciated the most. It was very accurate and matched the reading on the EKG and heart monitors in the emergency room within one heart beat on one more than one occasion. I find most of the other functions difficult to set and use. I wear it except when sleeping and find they work for about two years before failing. March 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not user friendly This product is not intuitively designed and I never actually got the heart rate function to work with the chest strap. All I want is a HR monitor that also calculates calories burned continuously. I ended up returning this product because I could not figure out how to use it. February 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Value This heart rate monitor is a good value for the exercise beginner. I like that I can momentarily check my heart rate without the chest strap, or monitor constantly with the chest strap. This hrm has helped me prevent the overtraining that leaves me feeling exhausted after a workout or a run. While there may be small discrepancies between a touch reading and a strap reading, it's close enough to get a beginner into a controlled exercise plan without wearing themselves out.If you need something fancier, calibrated, or more bells and whistles, fork out more money for a higher end monitor. For the price, you can't beat this model! Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome! This heart rate/watch combo is everything I could have asked for! Definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for a product like this. March 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product was every thing i needed and more I have bought a similar item at another department store it lasted a few months it did not keep proper calorie count I pitched it and wasted my money. I was skeptical about buying this one from Dicks when I brought it home the directions were some confusing but once I got the hang of it, let me tell you I was amazed the chest band is so accurate it checked it with my heart rate monitor on my bike and my blood pressure machine to the number on all three. My last watch would stop counting calories after 15 hours I sleep with my chest band very comfortable even for a fat guy like me. after wearing for a couple of days only removing for showers, I didn't notice I had it on. I was amazed that it did not stop in time, but after max calorie count. The watch is also stylish I wear it with my suits and other dress clothes. thanks for a great product for a reasonable price. Rated 4 out of 5 by Instructions are tough to understand I think this heart monitor will be fine but I've had it for two weeks and the instructions are hard to figure out the options and buttons it has. I haven't been able to get it to the heart settings yet. Will probably have to call the customer service for help. I'm sure once I get things straight I'll love it. It's my first monitor so I guess that's probably one reason why I don't understand some settings. March 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by very inconsistent between strap and touch monitor there is a big difference between the readings of the chest strap and the readings of the touch monitor January 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not much to recommend. This was my first watch/HRM combo and I really did not know what to expect. I bought the device after my defibrillator gave me a shock; I was exercising and my heart rate exceeded the device setting. I did not want that to happen again! The HRM instructions were difficult to follow (I have an engineering degree and really do know how to read and follow instructions) and after a frustrating hour or three I gave up and returned it to the store for a full refund and no questions asked. I did buy a Timex watch/HRM which I am totally satisfied with. January 15, 2013
