Sportline Men's DUO 1060 Heart Rate Monitor 2.5 5 10 10
Duo sport body monitor The duo is useful but pretty complicated. I am sure it will be easier to use over time. Also the backlight for the men's is virtually useless. Also my fiancée bought the ladies version at the same time and it locked up during programming. We will be taking it back. May 1, 2013
Don't Buy It I bought this to replace a Polar HRM that worked well until it died. The Duo was a basically a failure. First and most important, it was unreliable in picking-up and displaying HR, even when using the chest strap. Second, the watch was very difficult to use. I'm pretty tech savvy, but I found the push button menus unnecessarily complicated. (Hey Duo! Study Polar's design.) Third, the watch would not manual adjustment of my true max HR, but rather followed a very rough approximation based on age, which under estimated my true max HR by 15, thus further underestimating various training zones. Features are had to figure out I bought this monitor to use while I work out at the health club. I have tried to figure out the features but so far (2 weeks later) I'm still trying to figure out how it works. Manual is not very clear and I'm about ready to take it back to the store. great product I bought this on the store associate recomendation. It is a great product. It does everything I want and more. The only problem that initial set up is a bit confusing and takes a while to get it done. Follow the instructions to the letter and it will get done eventually. Once it is programmed it is very good. Using it with or without the chest strap is a great choice. It is very accurate with heart rate without the chest strap. I recommend this product to those that run or bike. February 20, 2013
I am not sure ifI would buy this again. I use the pedometer when walking outside. Sometimes I get varying results from the pedometer. I haven"t figured out what is causing this. I think it misses counting some of my steps. October 16, 2012
not a simple item I use this on runs and work routines. Very diffcult fo learn and way to many functions that will never be needed. I would suggest going with the polar, so much easier to use. August 29, 2012
great easy to use product even though it's a bit pricey, it is the best product I've used for my workouts. July 3, 2012
Not worth it This product lasted less than a month before the band broke. That was not even long enough to use the extended warranty thing that price should be a lot better made. February 10, 2012
I bought a Sportline four months ago I have never had an accurate calorie reading. I climbed Angels Landing in Zion National Park in one hour. My calorie burn said that I burned 200 calories. There is no way I only burned 200 calories climbing Angels Landing in an hour. When I use my treadmill at a 10 incline I can burn around 600 calories in an hour. My watch will read around 400 less calories, and Angels Landing is steeper than a 10 incline. December 16, 2011
Do not waste your money on this HRM I bought this because I wanted to get a more accurate idea of how many calories i was burning in each workout. The first few times I used it, it worked great. The strap is secure and stays in place. However, after about three weeks it started acting funny... I would be at the beginning of my workout (where my HR would normally be at about 130-140) and the "alarm" would go off and say my HR was at 220. This alarm was meant to notify you if you were working too hard, but I was barely breaking a sweat and there is no way my HR was that high. I figured it was just a fluke and took it off (the alarm was annoying) and continued working out. The next day it did the same thing. I took off the strap and the watch but it continued to sound the alarm for 45 minutes. I couldn't get it to turn off. The heart rate onthe watch was reading 250+ even though the strap or the watch was not connected to me. Now every time I use it I can't get an accurate read because after 15 minutes or so the HR reads 250+ and the alarm sounds. What a waste of money... I was able to use it for three weeks before it broke. Buy another HR monitor~ you may actually be able to use it. August 30, 2011
