Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not purchase this case Used this case once and while placing the case in the car the handle came out of the screw, I was able to screw in the handle which I was thankful for, but once I got to my destination at the airport I went to pick up the case by the handle and it completely broke off from the base that it was attached to, I have read other reviews from dicks sports and this is a common issue with this case. Do not purchase this case! September 9, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by broken handle first time used broken handle first time i used it . the airline still has the handle i can't find where to get another one so i can bolt it on...if you know where please let me know.sku 72003 August 27, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by This Case Scores a Snowman on a Par 3! What a disaster! I bought this for airline travel and have used it for two trips...and both times the case broke. On the first flight, the handle ripped right off in the baggage handler's hand. I watched him lift it and the screws pulled right out. I bought some new hardware and fixed it for the flight home. On my flight yesterday, my repair screws held...but the handle was gone! It had been snapped off at the base. And one of the locks had also disappeared. I have read various online product review threads and there seems to be widespread complaints about the handle and locks. I have seen some comments about taping the handle down. I also tried that yesterday (just in case) but the baggage handlers apparently ripped off the tape to get to the handle. I would take it back to Dick's, but I bought it a year and a half ago for a trip that was canceled. But it has failed miserably during it's two recent uses. I wonder if I can put this in my recycling bin? August 5, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Please take this product off of the market!! I bought 2 of them for my daughter and her boyfriend to bring their clubs on vacation. On their first and only trip, the handle broke on one and a snap came off on the other. The good news is that your Manager and clerk in your Bluffton, SC store, allowed us to return (as part of a trade-in) no questions asked. I know the airlines are rough on luggage, but this item has no durability whatsoever July 21, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Golf Guard hard cases I also had a latch fall off. Is it possible to order replacements (hopefully improved)? May 25, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Waste of Money Bought this to carry some tripods for my camera equipment. To travel I have the foresight to buy some straps to keep the case from opening. The first thing tha happened was that the middle handle broke on the first day of use. Then it started to break slowly but surely. If you don't mind a disposable Golf Hard Travel Case, get one but if you want something durable, go elsewhere. Not worth it! May 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent quality for the price I have owned this case for 4 years now and it has been through baggage claim at the airport over 20 times with absolutely no damage to my clubs. Yes, the latches are weak and could use some upgrading/rethinking by the manufacturer, however I read the reviews before purchasing and I have used a simple luggage strap around the case every time I have used it. The case is showing some wear where it has obviously been handled roughly by the airlines but it has never popped open or let me down. I will continue to use this case until (if ever) it becomes unusable. April 21, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Durable I took one trip with it and when I landed the lock had broken off. I returned to Dicks with absolutely no problem. Thanks for the good service but re-think selling this product. April 18, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by OK Case but latch issues I own 2 of these travel cases and have owned them for a few years now. With the exception of the latches (see below), cases themselves are durable and easy to wheel around. They can store clubs and shoes with room to spare. There are many complaints about the latches and justifiably so. The latches are a bit flimsy and fall off in travel. I have lost a couple. On the bright side, the manufacturer sent replacement latches free of charge by simply requesting them by email Within a few days of the request I received the replacement latches in the mail free of charge. Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy for air travel ditto what numerous other reviewers have stated... handle broke off first trip; I repaired that with a different type of handle. But when each of the latches broke off in succession, my only way of getting my clubs home my last trip was wrapping the whole thing in duct tape. Too bad, as the case itself is sturdy and quite protective, and it rolls/handles nice. February 26, 2015
