Plano Golf Guard Deluxe Hard Travel Case 2.3 5 39 39
Poor Quality - Maybe for Light Weight Items The handle on top broke off on the first trip. The screws from the bottom just could not keep the plastic handle from slipping out. Has to replace it with a metal cabinet door handle I found at Home Depot. The buckles are quite cheap and stick out from the side so on about every trip another one breaks off. January 2, 2015
snap closures the bag carrier seems very nice however the snap locks look very cheap . My husband thinks it could come open in transport through the airport. We will try it out though and let you know if we have any problems. December 5, 2014
VERY POOR BUILD QUALITY I bought this for transporting my golf set(what else?) and on my way to the Airport one of the hinges simply came away in my hand in the car itself. Then when the air travel was over,3 of the 4 hinges had gone away. The cart was hanging only on one hinge and when I opened the hinge, that too was very loose. This product is a total no..no for any purpose October 16, 2014
Very Poor First time it was used one latch fell off, the handle broke and the locks did not work. I am, of course, returning it. June 22, 2014
No value here. I purchased 2 of these just a month ago. It only took one leg of air travel for both cases to lose the lower latch. If it were one case, maybe this is just rough handling by the airline, but to lose the same latch on 2 cases I have to think poor manufacturing. April 13, 2014
Handle Broke After Four Trips The baggage handler at the airport broke off the handle that is in the middle of the case. United will not cover any protruding parts - handles, wheels, etc. After only 4 uses, the case is basically useless, unless I can get spare parts somewhere. One solution: tape the handle in the closed position when you are checking the case. March 9, 2014
Handle Broke on first trip The handle set-up is not well designed. A machine screw in plastic is not going to hold a 20-40lb bag. Don't buy this travel case unless you want to re-inforce the handle set-up. December 22, 2013
Gold carry case Excellent.. Traveled several times, easy to roll and protected clubs. Good value. December 15, 2013
Don't waste your money. This case is poorly constructed. Keys do not fit the locks well and the carrying handle broke off the first time I used it. It does have a lot of space, but that is useless if the locks don't work and it's hard to manage without the carrying handle. November 11, 2013
Should be good for about a dozen flights. So far I've used this case for a half dozen flights and it's already missing one latch. I expect the next round of flights I have coming up will be the end of it. The latches are not attached with screws or rivets, but are merely held in place by tension. I would advise anyone with this case to glue the latches before use with airline baggage handlers. September 8, 2013
