Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Glove I have had no problems with this glove, and i have had it for five years. July 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a Good Glove My thumb has been hyper extended numerous times. The pocket is not deep and it takes a long while to break the glove in. There isn't much support for the thumb. I didn't not like this glove and will buy another brand for next season. July 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY Let's be honest here - I don't know a huge amount about catchers mitts, except that they range in price from about $30 to over $300. This purchase was for my 11 year old son so I wanted it to be good enough to last a few years, but not have to depend on it lasting forever, and not break the bank. So far it has been an excellent mitt. Easy to break in, although it still has a good solid strong feel to it. Fits his hand well, with some room to grow. The size is not the smallest, nor the largest, so it seems a perfect match. It has given me no indication that it won't last much longer than its intended purpose. The important thing is that my son loves it - is proud of it, and it is doing a great job behind the plate. June 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great glove I bought this glove a couple of years ago maybe 2 to 3 years ago and my son is still using it and it is amazing! He said the glove still has major pop and you never get hurt even after 2 years! Great but for the price June 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for teen or adult coach I purchased this glove to use as a Little League coach teaching kid pitch. The glove works well for this purpose and is already "game ready" so there isn't a big break in time. I worked the pocked in a little bit. I like the room for the pinky which in some gloves I find cramped. The color of the glove makes a good target. I'll probably not ever use it enough to wear it out, but it fits a large adult hand fine even though this is often considered a transitional glove from a junior to daily use adult glove. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great comfortable mitt Purchased this mitt for my 13 yr old son. This glove was so comfortable and easy to break in. The glove has great padding to absorb the sting. I'm even comfortable using the mitt to catch my son to practice pitching who throws at speeds of 65-70mph. Oh yeah and I'm a MOM! June 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Use Within Limits This glove feels like a Cadillac in the store. Leather looks better than competing gloves in the same price range. The thumb area is woefully weak and it needs more padding or you need to wear a padded glove if you catch pitches over 50 MPH. The web area is weak too. I returned it after 2 weeks looking new, but feeling awful. For only $20 more the Rawlings GCM325B Gamer is twice the glove. This Mizuno is an adult size glove with capabilities ending at Little League Majors level. Great glove for a catch in the backyard. June 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great catcher's mitt! This is a great mitt! The catchers on the baseball team were having a hard time keeping the ball in the glove with the other glove the team manager purchased, which was about $40 more than this one (this one was $79). The other glove had been oiled, beaten, used at numerous games and was still not wearing in. We bought this because my son (one of the catchers) was really frustrated with dropping the ball so much. The sales associate at Dick's put the glove in the glove softening machine and beat it like crazy. He instructed my son to play catch with it when we got home and told me to oil it the next morning. What a difference! Now the catchers will only use our glove. May 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value My grandson is very pleased with this catcher's mitt. Likes the added protection for finger outside mitt and he added palm pad. May 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value Bought this for my 12 year son who is 5.9 or so. Definitely adult sized but was the right size for him (and me as well). The quality of the glove is outstanding compared to any others in its price range. Easy break in as well. May 13, 2014
