Product Information:

The E-Force® Launch Pad Bedlam 170g Racquetball Racquet is constructed with a Tri Carbon frame and total carbon head, providing increased stiffness for more durability and power. The 22" Longstring ® design with Launch Pad technology and Full Motion Strings maximizes stringbed deflection, imparting more power to your swing.
FEATURES:

  • Weight: 170g
  • 22" Longstring ®: Eight center mains extend in free space from the head of the frame through the handle for increased stringbed deflection and power
  • Zero Richter Tubes: Mainstrings are enclosed in 84" of vibration-dampening tubes hidden in the handle
  • Bypass Stringing System: Mainstrings skip every two holes, so the ball does not strike two mainstrings at once; provides power and livelier ball response
  • Launch Pad Technology: Eliminates unnecessary deflection-limiting cross-strings in racquet throat; increases stringbed deflection and maximizes power
  • Fiber Alignment Tech (FAT) Zones: Pushes out and aligns fibers in high-stress curved areas of the frame for more strength and power in racquet head
  • 10.5" Cross Strings: Anchored at outside edges of the frame and extending in free space through Monster String Holes for more stringbed deflection and power
  • Full Motion Strings: Center mains and crosses move unrestricted in free space and do not touch the frame's inside edge; livelier stringbed and more power and deflection
  • Monster String Holes: Extra-large 2.54 cm² holes allow both main and cross strings to be anchored on the outside of the frame for more stringbed deflection and power
  • Total Carbon Head: Adds stiffness, durability and power; paint and non-structural materials replaced with additional carbon graphite
  • Tri Carbon Frame: Optimum blend of 3 light, stiff carbon graphites; increased stiffness for more durability and power
  • Wishbone Frame: Three-part fin system stiffens frame in throat; improves control and durability by eliminating twist and torque
  • Graphite Fiber: Stiff, strong graphite fibers reinforce and strengthen the frame to control flexibility and add more power

    E-Force LaunchPad 170 Racquetball Racquet 1.8 5 5 5
As advertised...adequate for b player I play fairly hard a couple times a week. It's been a few weeks and it's still going strong. Strings are not as tight as my last racquet, and I miss that. These strings (horzontally) stop farther from the handle than I'm used to, and create a tiny bit of a "grabbing" effect if you need to hit the ball there. February 9, 2012
Disappointment... This is my second of these racquets. I play one set, twice a week,.. I'm not overly strong, but I do enjoy giving the ball a whack as hard as i can when i can,.. I've never hit the wall or the floor with the racquet, but with each one,.. after around 10 to 12 matches, i found a crack in the frame near the handle,. i do love the feel and the power the racquet has, but it just doesn't have the quality to last very long. Poorly Constructed I really liked how it hit but after playing less than 10 times with it, it is already broken down near the handle. I was not overly aggressive with this racquet and it showed very little wear but it brok so easily. I didn't even know it was broke until I pulled it out of my bag and saw it immediately. I have never had a racquet break on me until this one. October 7, 2010
Bad Design I too bought this racquet and have not hit it against the wall except to get the ball and it is cracked on both sides near the handle. I plan on taking it back to the store to get a replacement. August 7, 2010
Why does my racquet keep breaking?? I bought this racquet twice. I was very happy with how it hits the ball, but BOTH racquets broke within my first 5 games, the frame cracking in the same place!! I am pretty strong, but that just shouldn't happen... I didn't smack it against anything, and I was purposely very careful with my second one to see if it was me or if the racquet was just defective. Unfortunately, I now think it might be that.
