Prince O3 Red MP Tennis Racquet 4.3 5 13 13
GREAT RACQUET I just got the racquet and I love it. I at first had an old cheap wal-mart racquet for beginners. I did not really like it when I started to use it. So when I got a new one I was happy to stop using the old one. And now I wish I would have gotten this racquet earlier. March 23, 2013
Great contol and sweet spot My last Prince racket was used 30 years ago. It had been loaned out used to swat a lot of bugs. Just got back into playing again after 30 year lay off. Stopped by a Dick's retail outlet. This racket is great and very comfortable. March 6, 2013
Nice for the price Recently got back into playing and my old racquet was hurting my elbow as it was heavy and made for power. I was looking for something lighter and built more for comfort since I play more for control than power now. You don't feel the impact through your arm when you hit the ball. Control is good and the sweet spot big enough. I'm still getting used to it so I can't comment on spin control but placement, control and comfort rate high. I'm sure there are nicer racquets out there but for the price I am happy. November 13, 2012
Prince O3 Red Gets It Done I bought this racquet for my son who is a sophomore in high school and is still a relatively newer tennis player. He just started playing last year, as opposed to several boys on the team that have been playing for years and grew up on tennis. But he's athletic so he started picking up on the game real well. Last year used the Wilson K-Factor racquet and a Head Ti.6, which are both good beginner's level racquets. But he just didn't seem to have the control he needed with those racquets, so I researched others and by looking at the Dick's Tennis Racquet Guide (which is VERY informative) and other online buyer quides, and I decided this Prince O3 Red was the right tool for him. It was described as a great "tweener" racquet for someone who is progressing from beginner to intermediate level and offers great control and power. So I bought it on sale at Dick's and my son LOVES it! I can tell just from watching him play that he has better control, his ground strokes are stronger with topspin and he's also able to get some great spin on the ball on his serves. It also has a great sounding "twock" sound when he hits the ball with it, like you hear from the pros on TV. I don't know why that is or if it makes any difference performance wise, but it just sounds good. And of course, all this gives him better confidence. Evidently this racquet has been around for years and it still performs well. My son is so happy with it that when I asked him if he wanted to try some other racquets out via demo programs through Dick's or other online tennis racquet retailers, he said no, because he likes this Prince O3 Red just fine. And I couldn't argue with that logic. In fact, we may just buy a second one of these to use as a backup racquet in case he breaks a string during a match. This racquet is a classic and I can see why. Great upgrade! I had a beginners racquet and I was OK with it, but decided to upgrade to an intermediate racquet. I chose this one and just finished playing my first match with it. WOW what a difference between the racquets the "pop" was noticiable right away and I had an immediate improvement with my backhand. My playing partner who is much better than I am said my ground strokes were greatly improved. Very Satisfied with this racquet! August 17, 2012
A Heavy Hitter I've played with Head Titanium racquets, so it took a little time getting used to the slightly heavier Prince. Once I did, however, I found that I could generate more power with it. This, at the expense of a smaller "sweet spot". But the tradeoff is, in my opinion, worth it! June 28, 2012
Great product I use this racket everyday. I have more control then with my Head racket. June 26, 2012
Great product Light, good feel, nice looking May 14, 2012
Good MidPrice Racket Just started playing again so I picked up a new racket. The O3 is a really comfortable and light racket. April 17, 2012
Solid all around racquet I've been playing with it for a couple weeks now, and have loved it so far. The power is very impressive and it offers some great control. Strings are already shifting consistently, but I can't complain. Great purchase for a recreational player. April 10, 2012
