Excellent product, great price!
I'm new to using a mechanical release. Scott Archery products are raved about on the archery message boards. I had a $10 off coupon to burn and got a new bow for Christmas, so I decided it was a good time to get a mechanical release.
The value was beyond excellent, $34.99+tax (after discount) and free shipping!
I'm still adjusting and playing with it for ideal fit and trigger reach, but so far it's performed perfectly! Definitely takes some getting used to and adjusting\tuning, but that goes with any archery gear.
My only complaint is I do not have an allen wrench that fits the super, micro, tiny, trigger adjustment screw. I can't adjust the trigger. Although it's fine the way it came, but I like to tinker and set things up to my preference.
I'll probably use my other $10 off reward for the youth Scott release for my son.

Really nice, compact and easy use.
The trigger is very easy to use, comfortable and has a quick release. I have used it several times and it is very consistent. The adjustable strap can slide a little easy, but I adjusted how it ties after going through the clamp that tightens it down and have had no problems since.

Not the greatest design
Thought that I would spend a little more to get a better product. Man was I wrong. Too many things can go wrong. When hunting I want everything simple and don't want to have to think about having my release correct. The caliper's are on a strap that is adjustable with an allen wrench (not very convenient and hope this does not fail in the future). I always stump shot before I get down for the morning to practice. I clicked in and the strap was twisted so the trigger was not in the correct position. Not a big deal but I just have to make sure it is not twisted. I wish the caliper was on a swivel so this was not a problem. Not bad product but poor design.

Not one of the better Scott releases
For me personally, the trigger is too close to where the release connects to the string. It puts your finger too close to the string.

just ordered another
tried almost every other release there is ... nothing else comes close ... ignore the price ... it's worth more than twice what it is ... can't believe people spend almost twice the money on the other popular brands/releases ... they feel like junk vs. the Scott ... even among the Scott line, this is the least expensive, yet the best ... makes no sense!

Works great
When I first took it out of the package I wasn't thrilled with the light trigger...but after shooting with it, it feels just right. After there is pressure on the jaws the trigger is less "touchy" and feels perfect to me. I'm less prone to pulling the trigger.

Calipers!
This thing works great. I was using an expensive 4 finger thumb release, but did not enjoy using it as much as this release. Has made me much more accurate in the longer releases.
