Tru-Fire Hurricane Glove Release 4.7 5 18 18
Solid release, comfortable and smooth action I was worried that I wouldn't like this release, but needed to eliminate side-torque I was having with my old wrist release. I am pleasantly surprised with this release. With my old release I had a solid piece from the strap to the jaws and my arrows had been getting pushed left about 3" as a result of side pressure, this release eliminated that push for me. The placement of the jaw/hand/string is perfect for me to get a true straight-away release of the string. I'm glad I bought it and am now more accurate and confident. I find this glove release to be the same amount of annoyance as a standard wrist release as far as grabbing things goes. This release is in the way but at least stays put. With my old release it would often flap into something and make noise, this one stays put close to your palm so you're less likely to scare off prey. Engaging the jaws onto the string is also silent. awesome Excellent bow hunting release, too bad their not made any more. August 31, 2014
Great release! I bought this same release back in 2000 when I started bow hunting....Still using it today after thousands of shots and 14 years of hard hunting. Truely amazing. Excited to see that they still make it, may buy one for a back up. Thats if this one doesnt outlive me. November 9, 2013
Tru-Fire Glove release is the way to go When I got into archery I did it right I bought a Mathews Z7 Extreme, so I would not second guess if I was getting the best I could. Then I went out and bought three different Tru-Fire releases. I bought a standard wrist strap, a finger release, and finally the hurricane glove release. What I found is the glove release was the most comfortable, and for me the most accurate. For some reason it is the only release I have been able to Robin Hook my shots. The only bad thing I have found in the glove release is if you leave it in a truck you sell you will have to spend another $70.00. Great Release October 25, 2013
Love it This is a great product! Very smooth and comfortable! October 9, 2013
tru fire glove This is the third one I own. One for each person in the house. These are great gloves because they are easy to adjust the size and makes the string e-z to pull as you use your whole arm and shoulder. The price is too much no matter where you buy it, but Dicks has the best price I could find and I used one of their $10 off $50 or more coupons. I would recommend this glove. September 20, 2013
Perfect for ANYONE Bought this release when it first came out back around 2006. Still have that same one. Easy to tighten and no hassle with a strap or buckle. Sits in hand comfortably and is smooth with trigger pull and release. Very smooth with draw back as well. Two of my friends just purchased the same exact release and love it. I will say this. If you are a hardcore competition shooter it is not what you want. It will be too bulky and anchor point feels awkward. For the hunter or enthusiest it doesn't get much better. August 15, 2013
No more finger shooting for me. I am a long time archer & bowhunter. I learned to shoot a bow with my fingers and 40 years later was still doing the same thing. I had tried releases in the past but never could make the adjustment. This year my accuracy was just not up to par with my finger shooting so I tried this release (read a review on-line) and it did the trick. Within a few hours of shooting and making adjustments to my sights and anchor point I was back on the bullseye. The more I use it the more I like it. For some reason the method of holding this is more conducive for finger shooters than other models I have tried. I dont know why, It just works! Very well built. Will buy a second one for backup during hunting season. August 7, 2013
Best release! This release is great as it makes a heavy weight bow easier to draw. I had one, and worried that I didn't have a back up incase... June 22, 2013
Finally- I am very happy with this release. It is comfortable, fits my small hand and is easy to put on & take off. It did change my anchor point slightly, a couple adjustment to my sights & it's all good. December 23, 2012
