Great Glove for a Catcher This glove is phenomenal. It feels like what it would be like to play in the MLB.Theres nothing quite like the fresh smell of the mitt. I should warn you, it takes about 2-3 weeks to break in. I just was catching balls from the machine during my teams workout. October 20, 2012
AMAZING i was debating on getting this or a dual core heart of the hide and im proud to say i picked the a2000. its a perfect fit and it keeps good shape( used for 2 seasons now). the break in time is really long though. i used oil and a glove mallet for about 3 weeks to loosen it. overall amazing glove! Can't go wrong! This glove was purchased for High School use to catch pitchers from 60-90 mph. It is a very dependable workhorse type glove, which is why many pro's use it. If your indecisive about purchasing a catchers mitt, take the worry out of it and get the A2000. It has a great tradition of being a top level glove at a competitive price. Like any good glove it will take some time to break in. If you want a good glove the only way around the break in time is buying a used glove. You can't go wrong with this glove. April 19, 2011
