Rated 4 out of 5áby Field & Stream kayak I really enjoy my Field &Stream Kayak. I usually pack a cooler and lots of gear when I go so it's nice to have the room that it provides. I sometimes take my 75lb Pit Bull with me and she rides in with my legs. The stability that this kayak provides is awesome. It is not easily tipped over so that is a must with a dog on board. Only draw back for me is the weight. I struggle to get this 12' 60lb kayak on my Jeep by myself, but it's not impossible. Good thing I'm a strong female, but I suspect as I age it will be too much to tackle alone. I have had it for two years and have enjoyed many adventures in it so far. Highly recommend if your looking for a big stable kayak. It holds up to 500bs which is great when you need to haul other friends gear because they bought a little kayak without enough storage. Rated 5 out of 5áby Frickin awesome! We bought both colors. I added a pole holder and paddle holder. In heavy winds to the flats and rivers this kayak does the job. The grand river to lake superior pictured rocks. Kid use and us at 50 and still no problems. Lots of storage under front, like soft cooler. Dry stuff in the back or remover it for more room. Also storage under the back. We load them up and go all day. Great seat for sore backs. foot pad popped off once but they pop right back on, heavy plastic. Also beware of thin kayaks, this is a thick one. You wont scrape or starch threw it. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. We got them on sale for $300 each. July 20, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5áby Great big guy Kayak I'm 6'4" 300 pounds. I fit great and it's steady enough for me. Got it on sale too! July 19, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5áby great kayak for the money. This is my 3rd kayak my last being a more expensive perception with about the same setup as the eagle run. I like the eagle run better it's faster and tracks better it also seems to be about the same quality of construction and build. The only drawbacks to me are the footpegs are hard to adjust and keep in place and the cockpit is a little bit narrow for the size and weight capacity of the kayak. July 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby sturdy, stable, easy to paddle and holds almost as much as a canoe ! Every aspect of this boat is great, yes it's a bit hefty but the hull is thick and can take a real beating ! I've put well over a 100 miles of river running on mine and yes the floor pops upwards, but doesn't affect the handling at all.The flaws are the weak foot pegs, mine broke in the first 2 runs, and the seat back that just broke this year.I replaced the foot pegs with a alum. and nylon set of Yakimas from Ebay.Have yet to find a replacement for the seat back. might just have to make one. Rated 5 out of 5áby So far it has been a great kayak I bought my wife a Hobie i11s inflatable kayak for our anniversary earlier this year which she loved so much that she encouraged me to buy one too so we could yak together. While looking on craigslist I saw an Eagle Run for sale which looked nice but it turned out the owner wanted almost exactly what a new one at the current sale price would cost me ($399). So right after that, a couple months ago, I went to Dicks and bought one new and we've now used it about 10 times, mostly in the brackish water rivers near Mobile, AL but also in Powell Lake and the ICW near Panama City Beach, FL. The kayak has been great every place we've taken it. I added a gel seat insert I found on amazon which helps when you are in the kayak more than a few hours. My wife's Hobie seat is still much more comfortable but that kayak cost more than 5x what I paid for this one. I added a big noodle float, cut in half, to the front end for extra buoyancy which I am not sure I need but it was only $3 for extra piece of mind. I have a small cooler we take with us instead of the back compartment so I haven't used that at all. I did spurge a bit and buy a nice Field and Stream lightweight paddle at about twice the cost of the one the salesman recommended but I am really glad I got it after having paddled very long distances. So far this kayak has been a great first time kayaker buy. July 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Great price, good beginner kayak I'm 6'1", 215 lbs. I had lots of adjustment for the foot flush. The foot pegs are not well made. The pegs moved every time I straightened my legs and my toes caught the back of the pegs when I brought my feet back up. The clips broke, so I put a small length of hose in between the peg and the clip. The cockpit was a little narrow. The cup holders are more of a cubby hole than cupholder. Not deep enough to hold your cup while paddling. Tracks good and medium fast paddling. The PAC (portable accessory carrier) does not fit in the rear tankwell flush. July 10, 2016
