Rated 4 out of 5 by Great yak to start with I have owned this kayak for 2 1/2 years, really nice boat. Few things I wish were different, back hatch area lose the pod and make wide enough to hold milk crate to hold more rods and tackle boxes, and anchor trolley would be nice. That being said I still love my kayak and have added the mods mentioned above. Also if you rig this yak to fish seriously it's quite heavy to load and unload but it's still stable enough in the water, not fast but I'm still fishing tourneys in it. October 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Kayak for big guys! Love this kayak! I'm 6'8" and about 260 lbs so I wanted something that would easily support me and some gear. This does the trick and then some. If I had anything bad to say it would be it could use a real cup holder deep enough to hold a water bottle. Plus it weighs about twice as much as my wife's. But considering this one is 2 feet longer and heavier plastic, it's totally understandable. Very stable and tracks great! Love it!! October 1, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice kayak for the price I have used this kayak on a few different lakes and streams so far, and have been for the most part happy with the purchase. It is a little expensive, and would have expected a better performing product, but overall am satisfied. The kayak is not as stable as I would have liked, tracking could be better, and it is a bit narrow. That is really all that I have bad to say about it. It glides nicely though, and the seat is comfortable for a few hours at a time. I have added a front rod holder and a dog for the anchor. At 60+ lbs, it is still light enough to throw over your shoulder and carry fairly easy. Take out the pod, and it is even lighter. The pod is a nice feature, though I have not really determined what I can do with it. Has a small port on the top, so not a good wet well, and if you store things to keep them dry, you have to go fishing through to get your things back. September 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Yak! My wife and I just started Kayaking with friends. I am 6'5 and needed a boat with legroom. Did a lot of research and settled on this one. I'm sure there are better ones but I liked the features and after our first trip out I couldn't be happier. Handled well, tracked good and GREAT legroom. I wanted a boat I could fish out of and I liked the built in storage. Haven't yet installed anchor rigging but am looking forward to tricking it out. September 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Kayak for the price I recently purchased the Field and Stream Eagle Run 120 kayak and have been out on the local rivers for the past 3 weekends logging a little over 30 miles. So far I have found it to be an easy paddle. It tracks nicely and is fairly stable. I do a lot of nature photography so stability and staying somewhat dry are a big deal to me. The cup holders are pretty useless as they are too shallow to really hold anything and I have added clips to the paddle keepers as they are a little weak. In general though I am extremely pleased with the kayak. It is light enough to portage or load onto your carrier. I am 6 foot tall and 230 lbs and fit comfortably , although I will be purchasing a seat pad as it was a little hard on my seat after a six hour tour last Sunday. September 22, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Choice!! I was looking for a first purchase kayak for myself and spent a couple of months researching the different options and manufacturers. I chose the Eagle Run 12 sit in and have been super happy with this kayak. I was primarily looking for a kayak that would not only handle me and my gear, but have plenty of leg room. I am 6' 0" and weigh 195, and after actually sitting in the one in the store, I felt that this model offered the complete package. It is very stable and I have taken it out on a nearby lake here in East Tennessee at least 10 times so far since I purchased it in Aug. 2015. I have actually been through boat wakes of at least 12" with no problem. This kayak takes is all in stride. I haven't had any problems with the foot pegs so far, and the seat is comfy. However, I did add a stadium cushion for added comfort, and can spend hours on the lake with no problem. This kayak is wide and roomy in the cockpit which were big selling points along with the 500lb capacity which allows for stowing gear on the kayak with you for camping. This kayak at 12' tracks very good and glides through the water with ease and is a true joy to paddle on the lake. I feel sure that this kayak would be able to handle almost anything that you encounter in a recreational capacity. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a solid kayak. Rated 5 out of 5 by Kayak This Kayak is a good kayak for the money. I'm a big guy 6'2' and over 300 pounds and it holds me well. Its a little unstable in rough water but am putting on outrigger floats to help. Good Kayak to fish and have fun in. September 3, 2015
