All around great rod
Had this rod for awhile now and it has defiantly proved itself to be the best one I own. I have caught everything from 40 inch Redfish and Black Drum to gator seatrout and snook. Don't think this rod is only for freshwater or you will really be missing out.

Love it
After owning a half a dozen of the IM6 feild and stream models (and loving them) I was a little dsapointed to see Dicks carrying a different model. I trusted the brand and went for it, and I absolutley love these rods. not sure what the issue is with a few people having breaks, but after many good size lm and sm i can't give anything less than 5 stars!

this pole is a junk. i bought the warrenty and dicks did not stand behind it. no hassle warranty. i guess i didn't get that one because i was on the phone for 2 hours to get it replaced. the told me the pole and how much that it was covered but that they will not replace it without the recipt. never will i buy a disks product again.

A lot of rod for a little cash
Exactly what I was looking for. Cheaply priced but well made. I'm told these rods are made by Shimano and it definitely shows. Superior quality and performance.

great rod for the price
I have rods thats almost three times the cost of these rods and these casting series are almost as good those rods. The balance and weight of these rods are great. I use the cranking rod for lm and sm bass all the time it handles small to medium baits very well. great rod!!!!

Good rod
I took this to go salmon fishing with my friend and my friend hooked 2 salmon in a row with my tec spec 6'6" rod and landed them both with not problems. I dont know why people are hating on them but if you buy them in stores it is better than online. One of the salmon was 11lb and the other was about 7lb. I recommend buying it from in-stores.

buy at own risk
Rod is very sensitive and felt good. but after catching several fish the top foot of rod broke off very easily while bringing in a small bass. never had this happen in 20 years of fishing. Rod is nowhere near worth [$]. Rod snapped like it was a toothpick.

GREAT ROD SO FAR!!!!!!!!
First off let me say I have not had these rods for a long time yet. I am an avid fisherman and use these rods for bass fishing. I've got the 6'6" medium action with a fast tip. I must say this is one of my favorite rods ever I think I have bought 4 in the last month to replace older rods and just to build my adaptibility while on the water. Usually I do not like evgrip foam handles or any handle that has a gap where the reel is but I must say this rod is a pleasure. It is very comfortalble (usually i only buy cork handles). I can fish long days with many cast with this rod and not get wore out. It's very light, has great sensivity and action, and very confortable to use. If you worry about the design on the handle like I was, dont worry about it. This rod is a pleasure to use and I consider myself kinda picky about this things. The rod handles very well for bass fishing I use it to throw top water, jerkbaits, weightless worms, and just about anything I want for bass fishing. Overall a great rod so far but like I stated previousally that I have only had them for about a month. My current review: GREAT ROD.

Tip Broke Off
My son recieved one as a gift. About a foot of the tip broke off while fighting a small catfish. There are many better quality rods for less money. Don't buy!

Great rod great price
I bought this rod to replace 2 that were stolen from my shed. I took it on a road trip to north Florida, stopped at a small pond on the side of the road and caught 5 large mouth the biggest was over 3 lbs. The rod has a nice balanced feel, good sensitivity and enough strength to hold it's own. I plan on buying 3 more.
