AMAZING had my 1st hit with this bat very light wight and just amazing and the price makes it better May 28, 2013
Pony up for a better bat This stick exploded in its first game. And i mean exploded. I had the grain lined up just fine - got jammed and the barrel of the bat went into the catcher AND the umpire! So if you want entertainment, this is the bat for you. For hits, loosen the purse strings and get something better. May 21, 2013
Not a bad bat... I bought this as a backup to my $80 maple Louisville Slugger...Long story short I broke the maple first at bat ever in a wooden bat league (It was totally my fault hit it down on the handle, I would have broke a solid steel bat where I hit it). Had to switch to this and love it. I use it exclusively in practice and when facing slower pitchers (kind of heavy for my liking) and it has held up great! Will buy more for sure! May 20, 2013
Baseball Bat Good bat. Hits smooth and flys. I like the bat and it was fun to play the game. May 7, 2013
BAD VIBRATION! I play slow pitch softball for my church and i just bought this bat and used it at our second practice. I hit about 5 pitches with it and it vibrates really bad. This is the first time ever using a wooden bat. What causes the bad vibration? April 10, 2013
Good bat for the price Bought this bat as a back up last year. I've used it mainly in the cages and it has held up well. After about 250 pitches it just started to splinter at the point where the wood grain is the smallest. Cage balls are very hard on a bat so I have to say it held up well. When buying this bat look for straight wood grain and keep lable pointed away from pitcher so the ball hits the flat part of wood grain. Had many pitches hit the handle at 70mph. bat hld up well for what it is. A cheap wooden bat. March 16, 2013
Good for what you pay for I have been playing baseball my whole life and the one thing about wood bats I can tell you is they break. Sooner or later it will break, period. This bat is a good bp bat and I would recommend using it with real baseballs and not cage balls. I would recommend that for any bat you own personally. Cage balls are made to last not to save a bat. The bat has great feel and pop. The thing is it is ash which is easy to break but that is also why it is cheap. I rate the bat a 4 out of 5 for an ASH bat. I knew buying it that it would break and it did. March 15, 2013
Lasted only 12 pitches Terrible, cheap quality - do not buy if you want to actually use it to play baseball. It broke after only 12 pitches. Tried to contact Louisville Slugger and no response. Waste of money. March 12, 2013
Great bat. I see alot of people saying this bat breaks easily. I don't think those people know how to swing a bat correctly. Have had 75mph plus numerous times on the inside of my hands, end of the bat & WILL NOT BREAK. A great buy. March 6, 2013
Great model This bat has a avery good feel to it the model is terrific. However the wood is kinda low grade. It has alot of pop I hit farther with this bat than an XL3 in bp. I one hopped the fence at our hs field witch is about 310 off of just about 40 mph pitching. I used this bat just for bp all through Jr.High school ball and started to splinter a little bit at the end of the season witch was about 2 and 1/2 months of hitting with it around 5 days a week. The handle is great feeling and the handle and barrel have very good transition spots and join together great. About to by another one. I wish they would make this model in M9 maple or just hard maple. February 28, 2013
