Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 87 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome bat at a great price I am on my 2nd bat, retired the 1st after about 13 games and roughly 45 AB plus about 300 pitches in the cages. Just figured I wanted to try a 33" instead plus I could tell it was losing pop. Hit plenty all along the bat, inside, outside, and SWEET spot. I like the trampoline effect and feel of ash. Have yet to try maple for the fact I don't want to put the money down on something that is more prone to snap on bad contact. Just hit 3-4 with 2 triples with my new 33". Loving these bats and never worry about breaking it (my 32" showed me the benefit of flex, and the price isn't worrisome). Definetly saw and felt the difference between the new pop vs the hundreds of balls hit off my old one. Again ash is best for beginners because it is more forgiving than maple. But maple will have more pop for hitters who hit better (more consistently in the sweet spot). No complaints on this bad at all and recommended to my teammate who broke 2 $150 marucci maples. ( I'm 19 yrs old facing 65-90 mph). Bottom line ash is more flex less pop. Maple is the opposite. All bats will break if the batter doesn't hit properly and I will admit I have been surprised on a few hits that I ddnt break it. Hope this helps! August 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice bat I prefer wood bats, and this one is a good one at a reasonable price. July 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great bat Good price for a quality product. I would order another one without a doubt April 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by good bat for a good hitter This bat is excellent for the price. Lets face it all wood bats break and the cheaper the better. You can break a 200 dollar bamboo wood bat if you hit it right, or a 400 dollar metal bat for that matter. So for all those reviews saying it vibrates, its not durable, it shatters. yes that is all true, but, wood bats are for good hitters. they teach you to hit the ball on the sweet spot and make your hitting ability better. therefore, if your using it correctly(gripping tight enough, hitting it well on the barrel) you will do amazing with this bat and your hitting skills will show because of it. Rated 4 out of 5 by i havent used it yet i haven't used it yet but it looks and feels like a quality bat, i got it on clearance for 24.99, so you cant beat that price, im sure its a good bat, if you take it to the batting cages where the speed is 80+ mph im sure it will break eventually but most bats at this price will, i bought two, ill use one for the cages and one for the field March 23, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Misplaced price tag Price tags were placed directly on the finished bat where you are not able to remove the tag without leaving a sticky film. In trying to use a small amount of rubbing alcohol and goo gone it removed part of the finish on the bat rendering it useless for autographs. February 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Needed it for a Halloween costume I wasn't using this bat for it's intended purpose. I used it as an accessory for a Halloween costume. Now it will sit under my bed and collect dust unless someone breaks into my house... then I'll smack a home intruder with it. October 29, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bat cracks easily. I broke 3 of these bats in 2 days. The quality is not good. The bat does not feel solid, and it stings your hands when hitting a ball. Recommend higher quality bats. September 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by SORIANOWOULDBEPROUD picked up a 33" C 243 Evan Longoria non cupped last week.my life is now better.this bat can hit 300 feet without a pitcher or a tee. at first it only made a dull sound, now it cracks since i got a feel for it. best balance, handle and feel of any bat i picked up. i showed it to everybody at my job as if i were doing "show and tell". i need binoculars to see where the ball lands sometimes. i am 43 years old 5 ft 8 /161 lbs. my sons and their friends are in awe of the power of the LOUISEVILLE SLUGGER. the pale blonde wood also looks great. the grain pattern looks like an expensive salmon filet.i am looking for a 40+ league so i can play and put this bad boy to work.
