KNEE SAVERS FITTING GUIDE:

  • 1. Remove the two bottom straps of your Catcher's shin guards
  • 2. Place the Knee Savers on the back of the shin guards with the Knee Saver logo facing away from the calf
  • 3. Once in place, re-attach the straps. Hook through the Knee Saver loop first, then through the metal shin guard loops. The straps should go under all 3, then over the last loop, then under the next loop so that it's tight
  • 4. Make sure the straps are tight and that you can clip them onto the other side of the shin guards
  • 5. Try them on. If they're too tight and uncomfortable, try loosening the straps. If they're too loose, tighten them up so they won't slide in the heat of play

Save young knees I bought these for my 10 year old son who is developing a love for catching. These are by far the best "knee savers" on the market and the block top edge is more important then they mention. My concern was for the laziness factor, sitting back on the Knee Savers instead of up and ready to block or throw. That concern was outweighed by my view of the retired crippled catchers with no knees left after a long career of strain. I highly recommend these for young catchers. May 28, 2012
