NOT for the beach I bought this because it was inexpensive and the guy at the store said it was good to take to the beach for my two babies. It was awful. I tried for 45 minutes to put it together with no avail as the breeze continuously knocked it over and blew it around. Definitely not good for taking to the beach. May 14, 2013
great purchase. We used this shelter when some family came to visit. It was great for shade, wind shelter, and a place to keep all the beach stuff while we were in the water. The only thing negative is that it takes two people to set it up easily, though set up usually took about 5 minutes or less. All in all, we are very happy with the quality, size, and price of this product. October 16, 2012
Pole broke I used the sun shelter at my son's football game. Unfortunatly I was not able to use it because the first time I tried to use it the pole split and I got pieces of plastic in my finger. I am planning on returning it! October 16, 2012
no match for wind at beach Was thrilled to find this shelter at Dick's to take to beach for toddler. We bought extra tent pegs to help anchor it in the sand,helpful. 2nd day one of the poles snapped shredding it and the shelter blew over on top of our 18 month old. Shelter is completely useless without the pole for support. Very disappointed in product, bought it because of the net sides and back to allow wind to blow thru. Plan to contact manufacturer for replacement of poles.. September 17, 2012
Its a good deal Its nice lightweight and compact for travel while creating good shade for our soccer games when set up. I haven't had it a long time so I don't know how durable it is otherwise I would be willing to give it five stars September 11, 2012

Pole broke Used 4 days at the beach. Nice light weight shelter. On day 4 the cord in the pole broke which relaxed the tension. Tent was blown by a mild wind out of the stakes and went tumbling. I will return this. August 21, 2012
Do not Buy I tried to set this up the first time I used it on the beach, it was too difficult and the poles broke, I never even used it and threw it away August 14, 2012
