Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little fishing boat This has been a great boat for me. It fits in the back of my truck so I don't need a trailer and I can off load it and load it on my truck my myself. I use a 55 lb thrust trolling motor and it goes 3.5 mph (according to the gps on my phone). The little "compartments" which are actually just indentations on the sides, come in very handy. I've been using it on Lake Mead this December and I have no fear of it capsizing. It is very stable. It does get rocked a lot from the wakes of other boats but I feel very safe in it. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pelican Bass Raider Revieew They are ok for small bodies of water I guess. 2 major points of concern however. The rod storage is bad. The design of this boat was not intended for someone who has more than 3 or 4 rods with them the space they used for cup holders etc etc should have just been an empty space for rod storage on port and aft cup holders are not needed. Also the material they used is good but on the bottem of the boat it should be thicker or reinforced better somehow. If you are alone, you can carry the boat so some dragging on the ground for short distances is a must. Well after a while it wears very thin and before long you have a hole in your boat. These two points were not thought of during the design of this little pond hopper. The pre wired feature is a plus, the stability is a plus, and the price is good. If you buy this boat mount trolling enging on the bow, as pulling through water is better than pushing and the pre wired feature is great for bow mounts. I have used the heck out of these boats, pretty good little small water boats, other than the two flaws I have written about. December 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Little Boat I've had the boat for two years now and it's been great. It is easier with help but when I am alone I can slide it into my pickup bed myself and drop it in the water myself. I'm 6'4" and 300 lbs. and use it alone a lot but did a bass tourney recently with my buddy who weighs 325 lbs. The boat handled both of us and all of our gear. I'm not sure how long the seats will hold up as they are starting to look like they might crack near the rivets but I could easily replace those with padded seats pretty cheap. Overall, great little boat. August 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect pond boat I've had the Pelican Bass Raider 10 for three years and "Darla" has been awesome. My fishing buddy and I are both over 250 pounds and this boat is super stable. I have a 30lb thrust trolling motor and I have had no problem getting around the many 5-100 acre ponds we fish. I couldn't ask for a better boat to haul in the back of my truck, ready for fishing at any time. July 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product could be about two feet longer It's ideal for one or two persons to fish out of on lakes that require electric motors. My 28 pound thrust motor is not enough power to move along. I need to have at least a 55 pound thrust motor when crossing a larger lake. However trolling for bass or walleye the 28 pound thrust is more than adequate. June 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by so dissapointed purchased a pelican 10-e everything fine until I put 2.5 horse power motor while going down the water the transom began to collapse total weight in the boat was 500lb +motor 35lb capacity is 600lb.has anyone had this problem ? May 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Have had for 4 years...still going strong! My husband and I have had this boat for 4 years and use it all the time during the spring/summer months. We bought a small trolling motor for it and a 2.5hp motor...we've taken it salt water through little creeks and marshes at high tide for striper fishing and often go out freshwater fishing on ponds and lakes. Fits perfectly in the bed of the truck and is not heavy. Very practical and easy to cart around and put in anywhere! So far the quality has been awesome as we've hit rocks and have dragged it down to the pond over sand/dirt...its awesome! May 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent boat I bought this boat for my lake and pond business and have never been disappointed. I have had it for 5 years treated it incredibly rough as i surveyed ponds and used it to install aeration systems. Super stable, I can load it with hundreds of pounds of equipment and walk around as II drag out weighted air line to place the diffusers. When I have a free afternoon, it is perfect for fishing with plenty of room for gear. I just haul it around on a utility trailer and toss it into pond. April 26, 2014
