Garbage
Paid $299.00 in August 2011 and 2 stores on 4/11/13 said this unit was worth NOTHING!!!!!

Works great.
I've played 4 rds now with this rangefinder. It works great. I've never had a problem with acquiring any distances. I love using it to get distances to traps and to carry hazards. I've read where others had the battery cover come off and it get lost. It does come off rather easy so before I started using it I put a small piece of electrical tape over the cover.

"Highly overpriced"
I've used this the past 3 rounds of golf & I would say 40 to 50 percent of the time it won't give me a reading on distance to the flag. If I had to do it again I would purchase a golf gps.

Does as advertised
I tried using a range finder several years ago and found that I could not hold them steady enough to get an accurate reading. This range finder doesn't require a real steady hand to find the flag. Just sweep it until it finds what you are looking for.

A Real Stroke Saver
I purchased my rangefinder last Christmas after a buddy of mine that is a great golfer let me use his. Wrapped it and gave it to my wife to give to me for Christmas. It was the best gift she has ever given me. Prevents me from mis-clubbing probably 5 times a round. My first time out with it I was standing at about the 150 marker in the right fairway and the flag was in the middle left of the green. I would have hit to 150yds but when I measured it it read 165yds. That's at least one stick for me. Other times I've used it to check out the distance to hazards. I even use it from time to time to see exactly where I've hit a shot. While GPS devices give you an idea, this device gives you an exact number. If you're not using this tool and your competitor is, you're starting out 4 to 5 strokes down to begin the round.
