Waste of money
No assembly instructions.
Cheaply made.
Very flimsy.
Does not hold rifle steady nor on target.
Requires re-adjustment after each shot.
Total waste of money.

Good and bad
When I opened the box I realized there was no instructions and a lot of parts...luckily I was able to finally figure it out and the rest actually functioned well.I would have given four stars if instructions were included.

Spend the money on a more expensive rest
I was at the range with my new rifle and another member of the club was nice enough to let me borrow his Caldwell Lead Sled rifle rest and It really helped to get my new scope sited in at 100 yards... I have a BDC scope so I wanted to get it sighted in at 200 yards as well. Went to the store to pick up the lead sled, and saw that it was almost $200 which is way more than I wanted to spend on a rest, so I started looking at more cost effective alternatives. Saw the Field and Stream for $59 and figured it would do the trick. Bad thought... It didn't go together very easy, it is cheaply made, doesn't hold the rifle square, and it jumps all over when you shoot. Bottom line, don't waste your money on this rest, spend the extra money on a better one.

Where are all the parts?????
I received this shooting rest a few years ago and am missing the front bag and other parts. I have been looking online to find the parts now and have found other people with the same problem I have. And still even if I had all of the parts it does seem to me that it is over priced.
So I guess I will go parts hunting.
Well, That is my opinion of the rest.

Great Item!
We have always wanted to have one to help with target practicing and getting use to a new gun. It is great! Very light weight and durable. Really like it.

Definitely not
This rest is not worth the [$] price. It is cheaply made, not very solid and required a lot of tinkering with to get it set up right. Sandbags would be WAY better than this at about half the cost. If I didn't receive it as a gift I would return it for sure!

Good basic shooting rest
This is a good rest for sighting in. I had to tape the frount bag in to keep it from falling out but that was a small problem.
