Rated 4 out of 5 by Loved the weight of this paddle We used the paddles in N.H.. Comfortable for 7 years to 66. August 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Power paddling. When you need a paddle for fast rapids these are the ones for the job! May 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by First time buying from site, nice product that I purchased. I had a little difficulty figuring out how to order, I kept looking for size, and wound up placing two orders, but that is probably just me. Really fast shipping and I like the canoe paddles feel, light and sturdy., I have not had a chance to use them yet. May 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good paddle This was the cheapest paddle that Dick's had in store. It's bright. The grip is fine, with an extra grip area near the paddle. It floats. It's not fancy. It's lightweight. This replaced an old wooden paddle that had cracked. April 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Paddle Haven't used this paddle yet. Just wanted to have an extra paddle in my boat. April 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by canoe paddle The caviness 400 canoe paddle is the proper length and strength-to-weight ratio for the application. It's durability is satisfactory as long as it is not left in the sun. Cracking and brittle plastic may occur with long term neglect- ie: left in the boat over winter or chemical interaction. Keep in the garage when not in use. They will last for many years. April 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It Is A Paddle What can I say - it is a paddle. It is a good all purpose size. I was able to row and slull a john boat with it. My only wish that it would be available in black (mine is yellow). April 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Canoe Paddles Love these things, I have had to buy multiple ones for different reasons but never because they broke. I take them duck hunting and a little spray paint hides the metal and yellow plastic very well. The real reason I love them though is the price. November 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by They last forever... After 15 years of use I have to replace my paddles . They were swept away in a flash flood. ( My fault ). They would have lasted another 20 years or more... . The hooked handle has many uses.. September 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by An improvement, but not the best I bought this to replace a box-store-special wooden canoe paddle that often left me with blisters and didn't get us very far, as it was quite narrow. This paddle is nice and wide, but it's still a bit heavy. The black plastic is too low on the handle to be used as a grip. I had to grip the aluminum, which left residue all over my hands. I intend to wrap this with some sort of waterproof tape. It's a vast improvement on what I had, but if you have the money, get something a bit nicer and lighter. September 11, 2013
