Not good for paddle boarding This telescoping paddle will not expand long enough for paddle boarding and it does not tighten up properly. We had no other options the day we bought our paddle boards. June 3, 2014
JUNK THIS PADDLE IS JUNK! WOULD NOT LOCK INTO POSITION AND LASTED LESS THAN ONE HOUR BEFORE BREAKING. IT WAS INCLUDED WITH A STAND UP PADDLE BOARD PURCHASE AND WAS MUCH TOO SHORT FOR THAT PURPOSE. May 31, 2014
Not as Sturdy as you think. Purchased two of these for a canoe. When we got home we notices one was cracked and the other one would not lock in place. April 10, 2014
A little pricey for a kid's paddle, but useless as an adult's. We purchased this paddle so that our 5 yr old could "help" paddle our canoe. :) We loved that it was able to telescope from a ridiculously short paddle to a full-size paddle! The first thing I noticed, however, was that the twist-lock that secures the telescoping tubes together doesn't work very well. An adult would have trouble keeping it tight while in use. For our 5 yr old it is PERFECT!!!! Yet...$35 for a kid's paddle is a bit much... But, what can you do when you're in the market for a kid's paddle on your way to the lake? July 16, 2013
i really like the way they telescope the paddles are great used them twice now and no ploblems May 28, 2013
Good Quality Paddles/Oars The paddles are light yet strong, collapse and expand easily. I use mine as oars for a dinghy, and they work great. Very good value for the money. January 15, 2013
good for light wieght use I use it for the girl friend and her small grandchildren. Had two of them broke one first day I used but I power paddle kayaks. I am an advance kayaker and just getting back to using the J stroke after many years. September 10, 2012
SO SO,,, This is my second paddle,The first one went back to the store,It would not unlock, The second one works hard also, But it is what it is, Only use it once in a while to push off shore then collapse it to store it, I have a small boat dont want a full size oar sitting on the deck. Had To return the first one The first paddle was so tight we could not open it but once,,,Returned it to store for a second one, This one does not work very well either as far as the telescoping, as far as a Paddle they work fine, But the whole purpose of buying this was to be able to store it collapased.. NOT ULTRA SMOOTH!!!!! August 6, 2012
Paddles The paddle packs down small and seems reliable. June 4, 2012
