Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Make sure to mix well I ate this meal in the backcountry before a strenuous hike the following day. I was surprised at how well it tasted and it is very high in calories which is a must when backpacking. This meal was easy to prepare and eating it from the bag minimizes the dishes I had to clean which is a big plus when all water needs to be filtered. Be careful to mix it well when water is initially added so the entire meal cooks evenly. August 6, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the one. Absolutely fantastic as far as freeze dried meals go. Meal rehydrated within minutes and tastes great. This is my go-to backpacking meal. October 28, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Tasted like spaghetti O's I would not buy Mountain House Spaghetti with Meat Sauce again, It was filling I ate it all by myself. I also added some Italian seasoning and a little basil, But it still tasted like a dollar can of spaghetti O;s. So I was disappointed. But you can't be the Beef Stroganuff mountain house sells August 27, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty good stuff! If you have been hiking all day probably pretty good. Getting off a motorcycle and having it not as good which is why 3 stars July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yummo My 11 y.o. can't get enough of this! He wants to eat it at home, not just camping!!! March 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too Much Water, Still Undercooked A little bit disappointed but maybe I was expecting too much... Make no mistake, if you're in the middle of nowhere and keeping weight down getting out there was important, this is a good choice. However, I found at sea level the recommended water amount was excessive--creating a soup. In addition, after adding boiling water and then boiling the entire mix again, the noodles were still undercooked/tough. October 22, 2013
