Rated 4 out of 5 by One of my faves!! We always choose the Mountain House meals for backpacking trips because they are good and actually taste like a real meal. The stroganoff and beef noodles is my favorite one. The only thing I don't like is the beef doesn't completely go soft. Would be nice if it did but not a big deal when your hungry. Will definitely buy again. October 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cooking Merit Badge finale My son used this as part of his Cooking Merit Badge requirement for this Eagle required badge. (Cook for 3 on a hike) The group loved it. Fast, easy to transport and tasty. August 25, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by This one is great on a cold day! I took this on a backpacking trip this April. The temp was in the 30's and the wind was blowing pretty good. After pouring the water in the bag, I resealed it and placed it in my jacket. It's a good way to warm up before eating your hot food! The Stroganoff is really good! April 21, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tasting This is my favorite, best tasting Mtn House meal. Very easy to prepare - just add boiling water to the pouch, stir, seal up the pouch for 10 minutes, then serve. Great for the trail or even at home. October 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by If you have to go FD hard to beat Mountain House Stroganoff The best of the mid priced MH meals. I usually save 1/3 to 1/2 for another meal. Even better with tobasco ! Tim September 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This meal is THE BOMB!!! Our Scout troop held a cooking demo with various freeze-dried foods and the Mountain House Stroganoff w/Beef & Noodles rated 5 Stars! "Fluff" it up with a spoon or fork BEFORE adding hot H2O. If you have a pot of HOT water, set the bag against it to keep it from cooling off! August 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great dinner This was the best meal we had on the trail. Other meals had rice which sometimes was hard August 20, 2014
