Great taste My son loves it for his hikes and camp outs. Great taste and easy to fix. October 29, 2014
Great tasting This is my favorite, best tasting Mtn House meal. Very easy to prepare - just add boiling water to the pouch, stir, seal up the pouch for 10 minutes, then serve. Great for the trail or even at home. October 16, 2014
If you have to go FD hard to beat Mountain House Stroganoff The best of the mid priced MH meals. I usually save 1/3 to 1/2 for another meal. Even better with tobasco ! Tim September 9, 2014
This meal is THE BOMB!!! Our Scout troop held a cooking demo with various freeze-dried foods and the Mountain House Stroganoff w/Beef & Noodles rated 5 Stars! "Fluff" it up with a spoon or fork BEFORE adding hot H2O. If you have a pot of HOT water, set the bag against it to keep it from cooling off! August 26, 2014
great dinner This was the best meal we had on the trail. Other meals had rice which sometimes was hard August 20, 2014
Tastes good I really liked this, had a good taste. Needs some pepper in my opinion but still good without. July 15, 2014
Perfect for backpacking Good and tasty for backpacking, especially when packing ultra light. All you need is hot water! Easy to hydrate and no mess to clean. Package doubles as an eating container. April 22, 2014
Just OK If you need to pack light, this will do. The beef lacks the flavor and texture of real beef, but the noodles mushrooms and sauce are OK. This is not a gourmet meal, but it's hard to beat for convenience. March 12, 2014
Good eating I really liked this meal after a long day of hiking. Easy to make. Just add hot water, seal and wait. One of my favorite flavors of Mountain House. Wish it was a little less expensive. February 6, 2014
mmmm, mushrooms 2 cups of steaming hot water, stir, seal, wait and shiver for 10 mins and your feast is ready. May or may not be gourmet good, but after a day hiking in the cold rain, this is a fine, fine meal. September 24, 2013
