Rated 5 out of 5 by Tasty It's freeze dried icecream just like the stuff from the gift shop at the museum. September 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by taste great! These ice cream sandwiches are perfect to take on a hike, kayaking, backpacking or camping... or pretty much anywhere else you might crave the taste of an ice cream sandwich but don't have access to a freezer. September 2, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cool concept, tastes right, consistency is nasty I'll give it an average rating because I mean it's hard to make a non meltable ice cream sandwich but it wasn't great. Just expect the cookie part to be very hard like a cracker and the ice cream to be really powdery like meringue. Overall it was OK. August 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Who knew you could have an ice cream sandwich on a camping trip!? This was delicious and melted in your mouth like actual ice cream! The taste/flavor was exactly what I expected! I was a hsppy camper! July 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by I've had better ones before, but it was still decent. It was ok, but there are better freeze-dried ice creams out there. July 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I scream you scream we all scream for Mountain House Ice Cream This ice cream was bought for my son. Every time we go to Dick's Sporting Good's my son has to have some of this ice cream. He loves it! I've personally tried it and for what it is it's not bad. Would make a great snack on the trail when hiking. I do hike but haven't taken any with me yet, but after trying it I think I might. It's something different and ready to eat. Nothing bad to say about it. It won't change your world in any way but if you haven't tried a pack, you owe it to yourself to break out of your mold and give it a try next time your planning a hiking or backpacking trip. I have tried other Mountain House meals and they are good also. June 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Snack! I used to get a similar product at the Alabama Space Museum as a kid. This brand was just as good and at an even better price! June 23, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by this was a new experience This was our first experience with freeze dry products. It was definitely different. The flavor was good. The texture was weird, not in a bad way, just in a "never had anything like that" way. It was my 11 year old son's idea, it was his birthday and this is what he chose over the traditional cake and ice cream. June 23, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I was expecting Tasted like powder milk, very crumbly, is not what I was expecting. April 14, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's a freeze dried ice cream sandwich I don't know that any food eaten as freeze dried should be given a perfect score just because of taste. Nonetheless, this is as good of a product as you might imagine for what it is. It lost another star for being too pricy. Campers and hikers can find more substantial snacks for less. It's really just a novelty item. March 10, 2015
