Rated 1 out of 5 by Frustrated Handles can't hold weight
As an experienced camper and Eagle Scout I know my way around a cooler and camping. I took the family camping for a long weekend for their first experience and had to buy a bigger cooler than what I would use on a weekend trip. This cooler has the space to hold a family's food and drinks for a weekend, but the handles can't holw the weight. As soon as I took the cooler out of the truck, the handle snapped off the cooler dumped half of my food on the beach. It made for a long 1/2 mile walk to the campsite. If you are buying this cooler to hold the 150 cans of "soda" as they say it holds, make sure you have a friend to help you carry this after the handles snap off from the weight.

I was out looking for a large cooler, and nothing fancy just something simple but good quality, and i went into dicks to see what they carried and they had just what i was looking for, great product at a great price...

Rated 1 out of 5 by Danny Not what we expected from Igloo
We took the cooler on a camping trip for the weekend with 4 adults and 7 children. After the first day the latches were broke off and the cooler was a container of ice water. Good for a 3 hour cruise, but not a weekend out in the woods.

Purchased this 2 weeks ago for a week-long trip on the lake. When loading the cooler on the houseboat during first use, one handle assembly snapped off - I could no longer carry it. It was loaded about 3/4 of the way with drinks, food and ice, but wasn't super heavy. On day 3 of the trip, one of the hinges snapped down the middle. Overall, really disappointed in the quality of this cooler. Will need to replace - but unsure if I'll replace with another Igloo or not, which is disappointing as I appreciated the size and convenient access door. NO WAY this will carry 150 cans of soda using handles based on my experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Timbuktu Excellent insulation and cold retention
I bought this cooler to replace the Igloo cooler I have had for 19 years that got damaged in a storm. I packed the cooler full with food I previously prepared and froze for a 7 day family vacation. It took two days to get to our destination and to my surprise all of the food I packed was still frozen after 30 hours. Even the small ice packs I packed were still three quarters frozen. I would highly recommend the cooler. The only concern I have is the durability of the cooler locks. They are plastic and probably will break eventually.

Great size for live well, trap door makes the design the best. Hinges are cheap and so is the latch, will need to buy after market hardware making the value drop.
