Makes great livewell
Sure this is a cooler but it's more than just that. Buy an aeration system, stick it in there and there ya go! you have your self a tournament ready livewell system. And what's cool is there's latches on it so the fish dont pop the lid open and jump out and cost you money and a few places.

Awesome Cooler
I use this cooler for everything, camping, fishing, tailgating, parties, etc. Lots of room to store what you need. Superb insulation, ice lasts for days even in hot weather. Lid "hatch" lets you get inside without opening the entire top. Two latches on front of lid keep it closed and secure.

great cooler!
I bouht this cooler for my boat to replace my old one so far so good it is great keeps ice for 2 days and thats in the sun all day, big enough for a couple of keeper bass too!

Perfect size for a week of camping
We took this on a 7 day camping vacation and it held all our food for the week. We only had to get ice twice in that time frame. The only thing was the handles, we were unsure of how the plastic handles would hold with the cooler full very leary.

disappointment
I was expecting a lot more ability to keep things cool. No matter how much ice we had it just melted as fast as we could put it in. Very large capacity which was what we wanted, loved the flap on top (which i agree would add to loss of cooling) Not worth the price tag!

NOT EVEN CLOSE TO 5 DAYS
I BOUGHT 4O POUNDS OF ICE IN 4 DAYS AND WHEN I GOT HOME IT WAS GONE. IT MIGHT LAST IF I FILLED IT UP FULL, WITH NOTHING ELSE. TAKING IT BACK FOR REFUND. SORRY

Not good
It says that it holds ice for 5 days..well we had it in an air conditioned cabin and the ice didn't even last one day.

Really Keeps Things Cold for a Long Time
We were moving and had to store our frozen food for several days as our new place we not ready when we moved out. Everything arrived in-tact and still frozen 3 days later. It worked as advertised.
