well thought out butt pack
I like the split attachment spots. It makes for a better fit. I know the brand and was attracted to the purchase because of it. Upon examining it I found that it is well designed for my purposes. I plan to use it on a trip to the South Pacific later this month, (March). I will use it for about 2 weeks, and put it through its paces in Bali and Java.
I will know more about it upon my return, but, so far, so good. It seems to me that it will make a great addition to my luggage, and keep things needed on the trip at my fingertips.

Greater than great!!!!!!!!!!
Looked for months. Tried several other more expensive products. This item is only sold through Dicks. I am an avid hiker so I have packs for day, long distance, overnight and so on. This is great for short hikes, day use for vacations and ball games. It is very well built and has allot of extras not listed in the description. It is well worth the price. Much better product than the other packs of it's size. Don't waste your money on other packs just get this one. Can't purchase any better quality than this one.

Nice pack for day hikes, and it fits me.
The water bottle fit fine with the elastic straps. It carries everything I bring for a short hike. It was comfy to wear.

Great Fanny Pack for Daily Use
This has become my casual purse of choice. It manages to hold everything I need, conveniently and in such a small size pack. I can carry billfold, glasses case, 2 pill bottles, checkbook, small writing tablet, pen and pencil, small sun screen, small insect repellant, car keys, water bottle, AND my Bird Guide! Probably the best small fanny pack I've ever used.

just what I needed
I use it for trips on trains--it holds my passport, cameras(2) extra batteries, chargers, sun screen, sd cards,hand sanitizer,hair comb. The side pockets are handy for a small water bottle and the other one holds my sun glass case. I have my hands free to carry my suite case and to stop and take pictures. I found the large latch was a little hard to open.

Perfect for 3-6 hr hikes
Great little 1/2 day pack. The 1st review before mine has the water bottle thing all wrong. Water bottles WILL NOT fall out if you engage the top elastic snap around the top of the bottle. I have a feeling he didn't use the top elastic snaps for the bottles. If you don't engage the top elastic snaps ... then the bottles will fall out.

Size/comfort good; side pockets small
I wore this on a 3-hour easy-to-moderate hike (some hills, climbing over rocks and water crossings). Very comfortable to wear. Big enough inside to carry everything needed for a short hike, but not too big. Padded compartment for cell phone or camera. The side pockets are not large enough to carry water bottles - a small 1/2 liter water bottle kept falling out of the pocket. Good product if you use another method of carrying extra water.
