Great little heater I have used this just a few times, once to test it out, and a second time (so far) to heat a little cabin on Schoodic Lake. The heater has worked well, started easily, and ran smoothly both times. It puts out an impressive amount of heat for its size, and the "fumes" are minimal, you just notice a very, very, slight smell in a small cabin. I did leave a window just cracked open since the cabin is fairly airtight, and that was recommended so that the oxygen is not depleted which could cause the heater to put out CO instead of CO2. It does have a tip shut off that works well (I tested it) and a carbon monoxide monitor which I hope I will never test. I burned one can of propane (1 lb) in about 4-5 hours on high. I found a few web sites that describe refilling the 1lb cannisters from a 20 lb tank, which I will do. They sell a carrying bag for this, and I got it, and recommend it. It is well made and keeps everything together. I can fit the heater, an 10 ft hose, adapters, cannister caps etc., and four 1lb cannisters in the bag. March 6, 2013
This product is light weight and easy to use. We used this product during our baseball games on March 3. We set up as noted in instruction booklet and we were ready to go within 5 mins. Mr. Heater worked great and helped keep us warm during our two games and temp. around 40 degrees. I would recommend this product to anyone! March 5, 2013

Awesome Heater I bought one & had to take it back cause I could smell the gas when it wasn in the off position.got another one and it works great I can see where this will heat up an 8 X 8 tent with no problem, I use it presently in a partially divided portion of my garage approx. 14 X 10 and it keeps the immediate area very warm,I believe that in an 8 X 8 foot tent there will be no problem keeping warm as long as you are not in sub-zero climates.Great for emergencies,hurricanes,power outages,etc.I bought mine at Dicks for 79.00 on sale and I got another 10% off with my Dicks survey coupon.Great Deal. Awesome Heater!!! Got this heater for our annual outing to Martinsville speedway. Temps got pretty cool at night while we slept in the tent. Nothing this heater couldn't handle. 1 lb bottles last about 3 hours on high and probably 5 on low. I would recommend the plasticizer-free hose hooked to the 20 lb tank and you are good to go for the weekend. October 30, 2012
