Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam83 Great with crossbow Tried these after having trouble with expandable broadheads and my crossbow. I have killed three deer with these since switching two years ago. Very pleased. I have had no trouble shooting these into a crossbow block target dozens of times. They hold hold up well. They come with a little "gasket"/o-ring for use with carbon arrows that keeps them together. My cross bow is rated 365 fps and no issues. October 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Harry55 The Buck I Shot Dropped in His Tracks If you are planning to use Thunderhead Broadheads, I have personal experience with the 125 grain Thunderhead Broadhead with my Horton Crossbow. At 25 Yds. The medium size buck I shot was hit high in the lung/spine area and dropped in his tracks. The bolt had plenty of power to go through his spine. The fleching was sticking out toward me and the broadhead was sticking out the exit side. He was not able to get up so I walked over and put a mercy shot through the heart to finish him off. I highly recommend Thunderhead Broadheads for Crossbow Bolts. I had great success.
