Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect, leather, youth ball... Exactly what we were looking for for my son who started youth/cub 7th grade football. Wanted to give him the same ball as he will use at school and games and this was it. not cheep, but rather spend the extra 20 for the difference in quality and leather. July 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by buy this ball There is no ball better than this for intermediate football players ages 9-14. You have to try this ball sometime. August 30, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by great ball i play quarterback for my team and this ball is definitely my favorite. i can spiral this ball really good and its not that heavy either. it is hard but it shouldnt jam your fingers if your catching it right. April 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Football Great craftsmanship but a bit high priced compared to most balls of equal quality April 21, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ends are very hard and plastic laces hurt when catching I've played football all my life so when I went to buy my 11 year old son a new football I knew you had to go with leather. Leather is so much better than a composite ball. My son plays a lot of football and carries a ball almost everywhere. However, the ends of this football are rock hard. We tried loosening up the leather by letting air out and squeezing the leather on the ends. Nothing changed. When dropped on the end, it sounds like concrete hitting concrete. I'm exaggerating a bit, but it's almost that bad. After 10 minutes of throwing the ball our hands were red (maybe from dye) and we both were avoiding catching the ball against our body since the ends were so hard. We went back to our composite football. Not all composite footballs are the same, which also appears to be the case with leather balls. If choosing any football, I recommend going into a store and testing them out. That's how we chose our composite ball, which had a much better feel than any others. December 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by great for youth football very good product October 22, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by waste of money leather gets dry very fast meaning that it gets hard as a rock and jams your fingers all the time dye on the ball that gives it that cardinal red gets on your hands most of the time when the ball gets a bit wet tips of the ball jams your fingers too hard to get a spiral on the ball to complete passes in games (I would recommend getting nike footballs very accurate, spiral it almost each time, and rarely jam your fingers) (overall this ball is more of a show ball meaning only for looks) April 22, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Son loves the football, but The packaging was poor. Looked like the box was opened and that the football had been played with. Leather looks beaten and worn. My son likes the football wanted a specific kind but my wife and I were disappointed in the product. December 27, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not very durable The feel of the ball is pretty good, but a less expensive ball does show the wear and tear as easily as this ball does. This ball has been dropped a few times on pavement and it looks like it's been used for years. Plus, it got wet from grass and when wiped with a dry paper towel, the color of the ball wiped off. Not worth the $45 price tag! August 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Son loves the balls (Quarterback) Its the ball by son plays with at his school and it helps to have the same at home for extra throwing practice Great ball(s) bought 10 August 4, 2015
